  • Total amount outstanding on my loan is £268.82 so it's getting paid off today. I'm going to use my interest-free overdraft and just PAD to that for a couple of months. At least that way it's costing me less :D

:j:jYay! How lovely to know that the gorgeous Fred is .... all yours!:D

It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Thanks all :D I'm very pleased that it's finally gone and will rejig the SOA accordingly.

I now have £268 to clear in terms of overdraft, but knowing me that won't take too long :rotfl:

    Money in:

    Wages - £1310

    Money out:

    Mortgage - £214
    Council tax - £118
    Union deduction - £10
    My phone - £40
    Mr F's phone - £25
    Gas/electric - £60
    TV Licence - £13
    Home insurance - £17
    Virgin media - £38
    Current account fee - £8
    Petrol - £100
    Holiday savings - £20
    Gym - £13
    Moggy fund - £40
    Entertainment - £90
    Christmas/birthdays - £40
Car fund (for MOT, insurance etc) - £100
    Food - £190
    Second purse - £20

    Total outgoings: £1156

    Surplus: £154

So, the main changes are the lack of a loan (woo!) and that the car fund has gone up to £100 per month. I've increased the cat fund to £40 and my entertainment budget to £90, but this is finally going to include a monthly amount for crafting as at the moment this is unbudgeted and comes from my spends account. I'm joining a monthly craft club online where I have to commit to a spend of around £30 per month, so paying off the loan has definitely come at the right time :D
