I cheated a bit yesterday. I got paid today but borrowed the food budget from my overdraft as I've got a busy weekend coming up and knew I wouldn't have time for food shopping! First of all I did a wee shop at Fresian Foodstores (my second purse stockpile) spending £39.90 on storecupboard essentials, then I went to Sain$bury's, A1di, A$da and Morri$ons *phew* so that's why the groceries budget is looking a little light. I managed to pick up some pizza in the reductions section, so we're having a "takeaway Friday" for less than £2 - and one of them is a Fat Club pizza for me

I'm back with serious MSE withdrawal having had NO internet (except mobile) since Monday!
Have some catching up to do but re mobiles - def shop around.
I've just got a new 2 year contract: 120 mins, 500 texts & 750mb data for £8.50/month!:j+ £40 cashback
I don't get anywhere near my 750mb limit and I know a few people who have 500 mb who also don't exceed this - all of us do switch to wi-fi whenever possible and it saves a lot of usage. HTHGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

PS
treated myself to a new printer this week (after all the talk of printers) - did manage to get some money off
.
Really gave in after trying (unsuccessfully) to print some pics of the dog (someone suggested printing a few and putting in a "special album" for him only).:)
Have taken money out of the coin jars (who needs a shed anyway) ... now just need to figure out how to either get this into my bank account (no branches near) or pay to the cc bill (without having to pay a charge).

Morning folks
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I am a smidge hungover this morning after a lovely afternoon at a cocktail making class with Souk. We certainly drank more than we made, but had a very nice time
I had a lovely time at the craft show on Saturday and met a couple of ladies from one of the craft groups on FB which was great. It's nice to meet crafters in real life as well as online - none of my friends really "do" crafts, so it's great to have a natter with likeminded people. I got a couple of decent bargains and have made two cards this weekend, both of which are in my usual murky corner of t'internetI managed to come back from the show with change *faint* of £38.90 which I was very impressed with given that my budget was £75 :A I have now spent all of that as my current favourite stamp-maker has issued a new Wizard of Oz themed collection and as that's my favourite film of all time I had to have them. It cost £38.25 to have them all imported from Canada, which means I'll have to wait for weeks but save £10 compared to buying them in the UK :money:
I'm now back on a strict budget until I can sell some more crafting items!
Three day week for me this week, so trying to think happy thoughts0 -
It's hump day for me
Thank all the gods as well, as work has been mainly pants for the last couple of weeks and I could really use some time off.
I'm hoping that I'm going to be able to pay my loan off today. My repayment figure yesterday was £380 but a couple of PADs and my normal loan payment should have gone in last night, so if it's under £300 today then it's getting repaid

Total amount outstanding on my loan is £268.82 so it's getting paid off today. I'm going to use my interest-free overdraft and just PAD to that for a couple of months. At least that way it's costing me less0
