Managed my NSD today. I've gotten into the habit of going to the canteen in the afternoon for a cup of tea to make a change from the vile vending machine coffee. Instead I went home for lunch today, as I normally do, and filled up a flask with coffee instead. I got two large mugs of coffee out of it this afternoon and spent no money - result :money:

I also got an email from Swagbucks today with a voucher I had forgotten I ordered, so my Amazon balance is back to £8ish. Current state of play on the survey sites is:

    Mysurvey - 515 points (redeem at 550)
    Valued opinions - £8.75
    Ipsos - 490 points
    Swagbucks - 275 points

I have a card to make tonight, but it's sooooo cold in the craftroom that I'm not looking forward to it. I think I'm going to make up a hot water bottle :D

I didn't make the card I intended to last night, but have started making calendars as Mama Fresian liked the one I did for her so much that she's asked me to make her five to give as gifts

I'm aiming for NSD #2 today as I am going to go home for lunch and bring coffee back with me as I did yesterday and I'm still working through the massive pot of pea and ham soup I made last night. It's now solidified into something approaching pease pudding but when diluted it's very tasty :rotfl: I'm finding it hard to resist the urge to spread it on bread though :D

Tomorrow will be a spending day as I have to buy more Fat Club snacks, and figured I may as well stock up on bread/milk if I'm spending anyway. I'm also hoping that my local Sainsbury's have some warm slippers, as the rooms with laminate flooring are freezing at the moment!

I have laminate floor downstairs and they are soooooo cold. I tend to wear boot type slippers that cover your ankles as that is the bit of me that always seems to feel it.

Well done on taking in a flask, it all helps towards the NSD's and is much more sensible. Going to the canteen only puts other temptations in your way anyway.

That soup sounds delish (is there a licking your chops smiley?)

Doing well Pickle, just back to the daily grind of being a DFW and every penny being a prisoner :D

Today is going to be a spendy day as I'm off to the shops at lunchtime to get some Christmas shopping done, buy a couple of bits of groceries and it's Fat Club tonight so I'm going to be buying some biscuits from there :D I bought a new pair of slippers last night, but from Sainsbury's with my gift card so didn't ruin my NSD ;)

    Hope you're well too Pickle!
