  • Saffron's e-saver is now up to 5.6% for balances of £1000 or over :T .
OK, not the full 0.25% rise, but still pretty competitive.

Halifax rates have gone up as of 1st Feb 2007.

The ISA Saver Direct Cash ISA is up 0.05% from 5.25% to 5.30%
The Monthly saver is up 0.2% from 2.4% to 2.6% (excluding bonus) :o

Might be time to vote with my feet.

No sign of this on their own web site yet, and the Websaver rate is still showing as 5% in Online Banking.

The two rates I quoted are showing on my "Online Banking" page. I don't have a Websaver with Halifax - but it sounds like they haven't increased it.

Thisismoney (link in first post) states the increase in A&L's DirectSaver as 0.15% to 5.65%. It's worth noting that this is really an increase in the AER on this monthly-interest account of 0.16% from 5.64% to 5.80% AER. The increase in the nominal rate is irrelevant, to be honest.

ING web page now updated here.

The original basic account rate is unchanged, but the other two have become competitive again. Also the withdrawal penalty has been removed from the Web Saver and the max. deposit increased.
