Sorry for being stupid but, are these laptops already used? Do they come with just the programs a new laptop would have or the first:o users stuff on them?0

mine said used good condition, but when i booted the laptop up and i had to go through the first time setup thingy but it looks immaculate so if its been used before they hadn't used it for long.0

They will be opened customer returns which have been returned under DSR, used or warranty repaired stock.
They will generally have been reset to 'first use' if they are actually used.
We've bought several HP DV6 laptops this way and they have all be unused. Two of them even had all the 'peely plastic' on them.
Watch out for ones not being sold by Amazon themselves - they will be Amazon stock being resold at a markup.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I'm looking at a 'cheaper' laptop which will be a christmas present for my in laws. They will only use for internet browsing and very basic use. I have a Toshiba Satellite U400 and it's been good for me. Looking at the one already mentioned by withabix, is this a good option?
The Like New option is no longer available but £263 seems like a good price. There appears to be a lot of choice so I want to go for the best option, without needing to be brand loyal.
Toshiba Satellite C660-19G 15.6 inch Notebook (Intel Pentium T4500 2.3GHz Processor, 3GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) 2011 model.
£252.52 Used - Good
£263.64 Used - Very Good
£270.56 Used - Like New
Cheers....0 -

I ordered a Sony Vaio on 20th October with an estimated delivery date of this week. Today it is showing as estimated delivery mid December - any idea if I am likely to receive it eventually, or if I should start looking for an alternative.........
Thanks for your help Withabix.0 -
