I didn't know that Boult thanks, I try it then. Come to think of it I a pretty sure that the Salvation Army have one in the back of the shop ........ :D

More rain here today so didn't get out this morning as Alan didn't want to go out in that weather

Hope you are both rested and feeling OK...not surprised you didn`t go out this morning as it was really cold too.

Sounds like you are doing very well with your de-cluttering. I need to follow your example as I seem to be hoarding a few bits again...I have a cupboard full of curtains and I know that half of them I will never use!

Hope you have a nice weekend planned.

Can fit you in any time, seeing as I'm still off, just got to work round going to see the nurse to have my leg dressed.

Good new's from deepest, darkest derbyshire, I'v bottled some of the wine up:D and the damson is shaping up to be a good port subsitute in time for xmas[still tasting a bit raw at the mo] but there's a very tasty red apple and strawberry wine, which will be ready for drinking in the next couple of week's:beer:

3Dogs starts to plan that trip across to Derbyshire to see welldressing ;);)

Well, the District Nurse came to see Alan about 1pm and she stayed quite a wwhile asking lots of questions and just talking things through. She said that Alan's tiredness could be either the codeine phosphate or his condition, or, more likely, a combination of both. I told her that GP would be coming to see him on Monday as he'd been on holiday this week and she said he was the best person to speak to, as he would review his pain control and possibly change his medication. She is coming back next Friday to check on him again :D

We had something to eat and then Alan went back to bed, and I went into town with the charity stuff, to hairdressers to have my hair cut, and had a look in the auction but nothing there for us

Alan was up a while earlier and watched the first Euro footie match but then he went back to bed and is still there

Better hide the booze then:eek::D, actually the carrot wine might be ready in about 8 week's, and you can alway's take some of the damson wine back with you to drink later on in the year.

    Hi all!

Hope your'e all well and not under water! Am so fed up with all this rain :(
I have soo much to do in the garden but everytime I have a day off the heavens open.
Son has re-taken and passed his written driving test :T

I have decided that I am going to cut down my hours at work, Nick is needing more care at the moment and I think I will qualify for carers allowance if I go part-time. As Alan is, Nick is very tired and I am getting worn out working full time and running up and down the stairs with supplies for him! we are waiting for a date for the next bout of Chemo in the meantime he is still on slow release morphine and has been given a dose of steroids in preparation.

We need to take a leaf out of your book susan and do some more stuff together.

Boult your wines sound lovely! Never tried making my own but if I have more time and less funds I may have to! :)

Take care all and stay dry!

Now why didn't I take any notice of the
    second part of that quote!!???
