Hiya SSA - sorry work is still a problem but at least it is now the weekend


We were at the car boot this morning and then at hospital this afternoon. Bit of a mix up there, seems that we need not have had this appointment - bad communication between departments - but nothing spoilt as it was at local hospital and we got to talk things over with another nurse, who sent Alan for full bloods to check if he is anaemic, so we had them done on the way out

I am off to bed now so will wish you all a very goodnight - sleep well

Sorry to hear there was a mix up with appointments but at least you have the comfort of a nice car & no parking issues.

You are right about the weekend...I`m sure it`ll all seem better after a long lie-in tomorrow morning. Its only work & not at all important really.

Hi everybody!

Hope all are well, sounds like you had a great time in Pompey 3dogs, used to take my children to Southsea all the time when they were little! Sealife centre and the funfair were favourite haunts!
I have been a bit down lately and in true Mandy fashion have been 'bottling it all up'- not good :-( (have come here to selfishly vent!)
I hate cancer
I hate morphine
I hate what its doing to our life
I hate feeling sorry for myself and for Nick
I want my life back as it was and how it should be
All these statements are being cyber shouted very loudly!
OK done, feel slightly better!

Well daughter passed her audition but son failed written driving by 1 point, happy for her gutted for him but he has put in to re-test so that is good.

Had relatoids up over the Bank Hols and 14 of us went to the hotel DS works in for sunday Lunch! Was lovely, just wish I could get him to cook at home!!

Glad the sun is out but still not much germination of seeds! Toms are only 1 inch tall! Also have a plastic greenhouse full of bedding plant seeds that stupid here forgot to label 'cos of course I'll remember which is which' Ha Ha!

Morning Mandy, sorry to hear you are so down, and I bet all those relatoids (lovely word by the way) think you are the strong one don't they. Hope they are some help when you need them. I suspect you are in a different part of Yorkshire to me or I would come round with cake

You hit the nail on the head there Mandy - getting it all off your chest, even via your keyboard, does make it seem more bearable, mainly 'cause you can say what you feel on here whereas we all tend to keep it to ourselves in Real Life so as not to upset others. You keep raging hun ...... we will all here and will keep listening

How lovely for your DD to pass her auditions and I'm sure your DS will pass next time. Sunday Lunch sounds great

very very tired today, have to go to a fundraiser later and really, really don't want to but as a close friend have too. Her baby died a year ago and this fundraiser is for the charity that helped her.

I was a bit naughty and stayed up until 1am 2 nights in a row last week but am paying the price for it.
