Hi all!
Thanks so much for all your kind words, have stopped feeling sorry for myself now!
As you said Aesop its good to get it off your chest.
Its awful when charity/fundraisers make you feel bad if you can't afford silly prices, you'd think they would be grateful for all donations.
Its so true 3Dogs the real world can be poo! So much better in Cyber land!
Went to Croyde Bay in Devon 3 yrs ago, was lovely, took Nemo our Jack Russell who spent 2 days chasing the rabbits then realised he could'nt catch them! imagine walking through a field of rabbits with a terrier just ignoring them! Crazy dog!
Always think "rain fabric softener" works well! my washing has been known to stay out for days!
Glad you and Alan are getting about in the new motor, has to be some "perks" to the situation we are in. X
Ooh JayJay cake would always be welcome! However am in York so am a bit away from you! Relatoids very cosmetic! full of praise for my strength when they visit but not much help day to day! Hey ho!
Am off work for 2 days now so hope to get a bit of gardening done weather permitting! Have oncologist on the 18th so am hoping Nick gets new treatment, he's always so much better when he is on it.
Going with Dads wife, daughter and sons g/f to get feet eaten by fish on 21st!!!
Take care all
ML'Neither a lender nor a borrower be'
Now why didn't I take any notice of the
second part of that quote!!???0 -
I have an image in my head of Nemo & rabbits
:rotfl: I hope that Nick can have new treatment - good luck with oncology appointment on Friday, to both of you. I have fancied those 'foot fish' but not got round to it yet. Let me know what it's like
I am glad that you are finding some relief by posting on here hun :j :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hello this is SW. I am on Steve's 'puter and watching the telly. All is well. Aesop the fundraiser person was mean silly sausage ignore them. hello all hope all is good. I am happy might pop by soon but it is nice in real life and worky poos is soooo busy at the moment. Steve and Andy keep me up to date with all the goss. I am eating lots of chocs and getting fat. Life is cool. Hope you are all ok. Cant wait to see Susan again. Hugs, turrah for now.
Where can one buy a red light for Steve?0 -
When I said Bess was going to the beauty parlour - I didn't say she'd be beautified :rotfl: :rotfl: I forgot to take new photos before I took her for grooming so used some from my photo library, so here's the before and after photos - which do you prefer
BEFORE:
AND AFTER:
she doesn't look too happy about it, does she? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Being checked out when she got back from grooming:
Bess looks white with her long hair but her undercoat is mainly black, as are large patches of her skin. This means that when she is trimmed right back or is soaking wet, the black shows through and she becomes a black and white spotty dog :rotfl: :rotfl:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

What Kit means is she wants a red light for her front window so she can put Steve in there with a pink g-string and pink feather duster  she says they need to earn some extra cashMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Just about to go to bed but realised I haven't reported on our day yet
We had an appointment at CAB for 1pm, so Alan got back up about 11.45am and got ready but as we were sorting ourselves out to go there, he started to shake and feel unwell. Second time this has happened. I said I would go myself and he went back to bed. CAB Una looked through all the docs I'd taken and checked to see if Alan could get Pension Credit, which he can but only about £35, but this would go up to over £100 when my ESA ends in November. She gave me the number to ring and said to come back to see her in November so she can make sure the Pension Credit is increased as it should be. I then popped to Asda for Linda's bread and ciggies and came home
Alan was feeling better, so he got up and ready, and we drove down for cuppa and sarnie at the car boot cafe just before he closed. We were talking with friends/owners prior to leaving when suddenly there was a very heavy hail storm so we had to wait quite some time for that to finish so we could go home. We'd had really big hailstones fall in the morning, along with thunder and lightning too
Anyway, off to bed now so goodnight guys - sleep wellMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

No she wasn't - not at 9.20 this morning I wasn't   :rotfl: :rotfl:
All we have done today is go down to the car boot cafe for our lunch - well, all-day breakfastsAlan is so so tired at the moment
I spoke to our GP this afternoon to check on alan's blood tests that the colorectal nurses had requested on Friday to check for anaemia, but the result wwasn't through yet. GP is going to chase that up and ring us tomorrow or Friday. Alan said this morning that he really hopes that he is anaemic as he can have iron tablets and feel better
If he isn't anaemic, then he stays tired
Making plans for next week wwhen we are up 'home' though. he wants to go to Cullercoats, Tynemouth, the borders, Northumberland coast ..... going to be very busy lol. Plus he will be seeing family while we are up there. I do hope he can manage it all as he is looking forward to it so muchMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
