Afternoon guys :j The sun is shining, lovely day today :j :j
Made a decision about the van road taxI have tax it online, paying for one year's tax as we still need to use it to move things around and clear the units. If I taxed it on the free disabled tax, we couldn't use it after Wednesday. If I taxed it for 6 months for £121 and declared sorn at end of May which is what I plan, I would get 5 months tax left less the fee for paying for 6 months so would lose £11. So, by taxing it for 12 months, I will get 11 months tax back in full. So will only cost £18.33 to use van for April, plus of course the insurance which I will terminate on 31 May. This just gives us extra leeway with moving stuff around which we don't want to use the new car for
We have two specials lasagne reserved for us for 2pm so will be going down there soon and have a few things in the van which we will unload into the units. Then I will be able to clear some rubbish from the back garden to the tip
Hope everyone is having a good day:D

Evening guys - aren't the days getting longer and longer - really noticing it now as I can leave it really late to take the dogs out
Damp day today, but not too bad
We popped down to the cb cafe for bacon sarnie, cuppa and read of the papers, then popped a couple of boxes into the units, to get them to Stuart on Friday morning, so they are out of our way now. then we went into town to pick up Alan's new glasses and it was great to be able to park straight outside Specsavers with Blue Badge
Looked into the auction to see what else had been brought in for tomorrow's sale and may go down for the sale in the morning as a couple of things there we liked the look ofThen to Mr T's to use up a £10 off £80 coupon - it took some doing   and then my card was refused as I didn't have enough money in account. Popped outside to ATM to transfer money from other account but couldn't do that by ATM. Tried to do it through App on mobile but couldn't get a connection, so had to ask if they could hold shopping for half hour until we came home and grabbed Alan's card
However, as soon as we got out of town on main road, I got Alan to pull up as I had got a connection and I was able to immediately transfer the cash. So back to Tossco and I went in to pay for shopping, while Alan waited in the van as he was too embarrassed to show his face. He said he's not going in there with me again:rotfl: :rotfl:
Alan has just gone for a nap as he was really tired. He is aching around the area of the op but doc say that it would take months and months before he completely healed insideMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hi everybody, hope all are well.
Am not liking the morphine :-(. It has turned my Nicholas into a zombie with fat feet! he has compression socks and water pills but it still seems to be taking its time for him to be even remotely normal again. I go into worry wort mode (have being saying the rhyme for lost things Boult and Aesop but still no sign of my marbles!). Hate being controlled by a bunch of mutant cancer cells.
I have at last realised that I need some support and from friday we will have the MacMillan nurse coming on a regular basis to monitor the drug. I just have to convince myself this is not a weakness on my part.
Fingers crossed for my daughter please! She had an audition last night for the local theatre group so hopefully next year we will be going to see her in Oliver at The York Theatre Royal!!
Fingers also crossed for my Son who has his driving theory test 2morro!!
Beanie hope SW is going ok and you are beating the Goodfellows urges!
Enjoy cruisin' in the new car 2morro Susan and Alan!
Take care all

Oh dear, not good news at all with the morphine, I understand you wanting your Nick back
Hope his body can adjust and he is more himself soon .... and out of pain too. Great idea to have Macmillan visiting even if it's just to answer your questions and settle your mind
Good luck to your daughter, that's fantastic :j :j and good luck to your son too
Thinking of you petal :AMandyLou66 wrote: »Hi everybody, hope all are well.
