Hope the nurse has been/come's soon, been to Doc's, off another 2 week's, so the plan is...........more planting and weeding, I'v got some international kidney seed potatoe's[other wise know as jersey royal], broad bean seed's and some runner bean seed's, of the stuff already set at the end of Feb/begining of March only the chillie's and the sunflower's have gerinated yet, begining to think the tomotoe's and the parsley have bu**ered of to Oz.
Got a lovely, hot sunny day here as well, but I did the washing yesterday.£71.93/ £180.000 -

No nurse came so I rang them at 3pm and they rang back to say he'd disappeared off their system somehow  but sorted out now and nurse has just been
:j to another 2 weeks off as you have so many jobs to do in the gardenHope the toms have not become Poms in Oz :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have been doing some work in the garden this afternoon too. finished weeding and tidying the 'patio' and trimming back the blackberries & raspberries. Alan is just getting changed and we are going to have a little look around the auction and then call to get his fish & chips - none for me today as I am eating far too much  :eek:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Enjoy yourselve's at the auction, trust them lose him off the system, glad it's sorted now, and I'v planted some of the spud's, and will plant more in 2 week's and carry on doing that till June seeing as I'v got all 1st early/early main crop so in theroy, I should have new potatoe's all summer/autum.
Apart from that I'v just sat outside doing some crocheting and being tormented by adopt-a-cat 'cause she wanted the chair I was sat in.£71.93/ £180.000 -
Jealous of the potatoes Boultdj! Am as lazy a gardener as I am a poster (lol)! Only ever do tomatoes, runner beans and chillies, the rest is flowers!
Beautiful here in yorkshire! Had to spend 3hrs at Nicks treatment but still lovely when we escaped at 4!
Thinking of you for the Oncology appointment on Friday 3dogs, I am definitely in the pro-chemo camp. Nick is always so much better 'on treatment ' than off it.
As I have said before don't be scared when they go through all the side effects, (must admit when I first heard them all I ran out in tears, couldn't bear the thought of Nick going through all that) but they don't get them all. If Alan has the same first chemo as Nick Oxy/Cap his worst symptom was numb cold feet and an intolerance to touching cold things, we just bought thermal socks and had a pair of gloves by the fridge! They give you stuff to counteract sickness and diarrohea if he gets it, Nick never really did. Not trying to sway Alans decision but its worth seeing how he feels on chemo.
Hard times ahead but nowhere near as bad as you imagine, trust me.
Take care and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

Now why didn't I take any notice of the

Alan got a lovely welcome at the auction from the porters, lots of shaking of hands and hugs   We had a little look around and then went to Aldi for some Ecozone Ecoballs - has anyone on here tried them? I've been usiung them for almost a year now since alan found some in a lot he bought from auction and they are great. Use one, or two if more soiled, and you don't need the rinse cycle as no soap to rinse out, and they say you don't need fabric conditioner as the balls leave a freshness to your laundry, but I still use comfort/lenor pure to stop static build-up. You save a fortune on laundry products :money: :money: Aldi have them for £5.99 at the minute, and you get two balls, 2 bags of refill 'beads' plus a tube of stain remover, and they do 150 washes per ball, so they are great value :money: :money: :money: :money: I highly recommend them ............. and don't forget the 'saving the planet' bit too
Anyway we than popped to the chippy and home. Alan said that yesterday did tire him out more than he'd thought but he still wants to get out every day for at least an hour, so tomorrow we are just going to pop down to the car boot cafe for a whileMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Thanks for all that info, and support, ML - as for the intolerance to touching cold things, I'll have to keep my cold hands and feet away from him then  :eek:I think that Alan is leaning towards having the chemo now. The thought of the cancer feeding on the abcess is pushing him that way, I think, but we will listen to what the oncologist says on Friday before he makes his decision
Glad that you have had a good day today :j
We did and I hope you did too hun :A :AMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I am getting very annoyed. District Nurse not been yet, so I rang at 12.45pm to be told that Alan is on the list for today but that 'I must realise that they work from 8am to 4.30pm you know' :mad:  Alan was really looking forward to going down to the car boot cafe for lunch about 1.30/2pm but we won't get there now as the nurse still not here and the cafe closes at 3pmSo he is very disappointed and went for a lie down at 12.30pm
