Evening guys - it's been a lovely sunny day here but don't it get cold out of the sun and when the sun goes down   Loving all the budding on trees, flowers coming out and birds courting. One of my neighbours and her friend were planting up her window baskets this afternoon. All signs of spring and then, the clocks go forward tonight too, don't forget ;)

We were still in bed when the District Nurse came at 9.30 am but that didn't faze her :o At least we know what time she will be coming tomorrow and will be up and ready for her. The others have been coming about 11.30am, but she said they have different rotas for weekends

Alan was watching the live footie that started 12.45 pm but got tired before half time and went back to bed, so I took the opportunity to go and get my weekly shop at Mr T's while he was asleep. I got a £97 shop down to £43 after conditional spends and coupons ;);) so was well pleased :j :j

After the afternoon footie scores were in, with Sunderland winning 3-1 :j :j, I had to drive to the chippy yet again for Alan's fish & chips, which he thoroughly enjoyed

Alan went to bed about 7.30 pm and I will be going soon as tired today. We are getting up at 8am to get ready before the Nurse comes, and then go down to the car boot again. I've still got the wheelchair in the van and Alan will just have a sit in it, talking to friends, and a little 'wander' round. He is eager to get out now, for some fresh air and for a sense of normality too

This weather is set for quite a few days I hear, so I hope to take Alan down to the auction to see his mates there too during the week :D

Hope everyone is well. Kit is staying with the boys tonight so they will be having a great time :j

Dr Dragon sends best wishes to Mr3dogs (along with droolings of chippy fish and chips!), I'm glad he is getting out and about a bit (even if he still gets tired easily). Can you send my best wishes to the Hants brigade?!

As you say Kit & the boys will be having a great time.
    Enjoy yourself tomorrow.
Just watched a wee bit of BGT.

    Afternoon guys :j :j :j :j

We were up and ready when the District Nurse came at 9.30 this morning and, after she'd gone, we went down to the car boot. Alan wanted to walk a bit so left wheelchair in the van. He managed to walk, albeit slowly and unsteady, but got tired quickly. However, he enjoyed it and chatted to lots of our friends who were glad to see him walking about :D We sat for a while having a cuppa and chat, before bringing home a bacon and egg sarnie each which we had when we got back. We'd been out from 10 till 12 noon

The fog had lifted early morning but the cloud didn't clear until 12 noon when we were leaving, and it was cool down there, but lovely this afternoon. I took the dogs for a longer walk and then did a bit of clearing weeds between patio slabs. Alan watched recorded Sunderland match from yesterday and has now gone for a nap before the afternoon live match. Dogs are sleeping after their long walk. I am taking opportunity to catch up on MSE threads ;)

Afternoon gang - hope everyone is enjoying the same spring sun we are here on the Fens. Washing on the line, with slight breeze to dry it quickly :j :j Cool in the house though until sun gets round but dogs are really enjoying getting into the garden and playing :D

We were going down to have a look around the auction but the District Nurse hasn't been yet :( She normally comes about 11.30 am on weekdays :(
