How the heck do you write this?

3Dogs I am so sorry to hear of such bad news. I really do not know what to say right now other than complete admiration for the strength you're showing in the last few posts. x

Hello all, just logged on. Hey Marru, Aesop, Boult, Beanie, Angel and Darling Miche. Been praying like crazy for Alan for the last day, Glenys, Janet and Erika all send their love to.

Beanie i am so sorry about your loss too.

This seems to be a dreadful time but please remember Beanie, Susan and Alan that we all love you so very much.

I have so much to thank Susan and Alan and all of you for. I am thinking and praying for good medical treatment and a miracle. Lord, please protect my friends they are wonderful people and deserve so much.

I am glad Mollie is there and L***** , and S**** and Jools too. Please remember to look after yourself. I love you lots.

Evening guys and lovely to see you all here, even Miche - hiya hun :D

I visited Alan from 2 pm till 5.30 pm but, to be honest, he slept most of the time due to the on-tap morphine. He said that the Senior Consultant wanted to talk to me but might not be today as busy, I assume to go through all the details. I asked about the McMillan assistance but the nurse said they don't normally come in during the week and I should see them tomorrow, so gonna write a list of what we want to ask and what help they might be able to give us

So not much more news today .... oh, except that Alan realised today how much of him had been taken away as he saw his vast wound when they were changing the dressings

I spoke to my brother tonight and he offered to come down but I said no need. He can't drive so could help that way and he felt he might just be in the way, whereas, at the moment, I feel that Mam needs him more, which is what I told my sister too. He did offer though, if I change my mind, or if things change. We live in a tiny one-bedroomed bungalow and are not geared up for visitors, though we do have a good sofa bed. I was going to ring Alan's eldest son tonight, as he is the most responsible one in the family, so he could tell Alan's Dad & brother, as well as his younger son, but I realised that I do not have his new number so will have to get that off Alan tomorrow. I have his Dad's number, but his Dad would get so upset that he wouldn't be able to take it in, so I would rather he was told in person :(

My friend Linda nipped, or rather hobbled, along to see me when I got back as she wanted to make sure that I would ask her if I needed anything done. Poor thing, she can hardly walk, and in agony, yet is offering to do my hoovering, or cooking :o:o She went to see her new consultant in Cambridge yesterday and he has given her hope that her leg could be fixed up, if not perfectly, at least with more movement and much less pain. She has to go see them again, but will be going in for a week around April for her operation, so good news there

I forgot to add, for those who keep saying look after myself, that I had my weetabix, mullerlight and chopped pear for breakfast, a piece of cheese with a crispbread before I went over, a bag on white choc buttons on the way over, half a burnt value pizza tonight, followed by a mini sponge pud with custard ......... and I am stuffed :D

  • Hi 3Dogs & Everyone...nice to see SW & Miche too ( missed you guys:A) . Such a lovely post from Kit :A

Pleased to hear that you are eating..its easy to forget at times like these.

Hope Alan makes steady progress over the weekend & the pain eases. I`m sure you know this but make sure you see your GP if you need something to help you sleep too.

    Take care
