They sure do. I need to manage this from the start - enough effort to make a serious difference - but not so much time on here that I don't do anything else!!

Ok - stuff listed on eBay, Euros found ready for conversion, list of people to phone tomorrow to see about reducing payments on empty house. Now to sort out meal plans for the week (parents here so need something but want to minimise). Good to be back.

Aaagh. Just got a notice of prosecution for speeding through - seems to be on the motorway but in a 50 limit - probably one of those average checks. My own fault but annoyed at myself - waste of £60 or whatever they charge these days. Not to mention the points. Well that's me driving at the speed limit from now on.

On the plus side - done week shopping including food for the parents and it was just over £60 - still needs to come down but given how high it has been of late I am happy with that especially since it is for 4 rather than just the two of us. Have found a wonderful and cheap fruit and veg shop locally too!

I managed to collect a parking ticket the other week - but as there was no clear indication that I couldnt park there .. I've contested it - not heard back yet mind

Well done on the shop ... I've been looking locally for a good quality but cheap greengrocer and butcher ... not found the right combination yet - most of the places round here are farm shops and quite pricey ones at that :eek:

BOB & Chev :hello: - great to see you again. Certainly intend to reduce those debts - no - I WILL reduce the debts - before May.

That said will not be here much this week - have the parents staying. But lots of good MSE low cost/free activities planned!! So I haven't gone AWOL again and will try to drop in.
