    They're gone so too late if anyone does come! But should be safe now. There were a lot of kids about on the main street earlier but as I suspected, none ventured down our lane!

    Definitely not good enough. The more I think about it, the more angry I am. We queried him not washing it out and we queried whether it would need stitches (I could see the bone !!!!!!!). He said - blood is clean (and was flowing) so no need to wash out & no point in stitching as would heal fine! He even said to tell the day vet not to remove the dressing for 4 days! :mad: It is badly infected after only 24 hours and the tendons were severed - can't imagine the mess it would've been by then! :eek::eek::eek: She could still lose her toes poor love. :( We'll put in a complaint but will get them to do an itemised bill for the insurance first!
    Day vet has been brilliant so far thankfully.

    Telling the other vet not to remove the dressing ... is he even qualified? I'm glad you're putting in a complaint.

    Well it is a new day and, apart from being chronically behind with work, all looking positive.

    Dog had a good night and is getting the hang of doing everything on 3 legs. Back to the vet later for a check up.

    Meeting colleague today to work on something that *should* bring in some extra money eventually - and *will* get us an expenses paid meal out tonight :beer:

    Have realised I still have a BT offer from MBNA so am going to transfer the last remaining CC that has a higher interest rate onto that and then start paying the extras into the offset.

    Have money in my purse (was paid in cash yesterday) so will be aiming to have that last me all month - and hopefully cover next week's shopping as well.

    So all good.

    Anyway must get coffee and breakfast and make the most of the morning to get through some of this work back log! Have a good day everyone.

    He was I think "old school" - and I suspect not up to speed with new fangled things - like hibiscrub and sutures!

    Darn. Just realised the 0% balance transfer deal is an old one so can't do that. Never mind. Will keep snowballing at that one.

    I don't think you've slept through 30 days, no :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Maybe you could ring mbna and ask them to update the offer? I seem to remember people doing that a lot back in the day ...
