Unhelpful comments

Just a bit of a rant, but, has anyone else noticed the increase in unhelpful and sometimes down right rude replies?
I thought this was a forum where people came for help with genuine problems and all they get in response is arrogant people with self opinionated views!
In my view, if you don't have anything helpful to say then don't say it! :(

  • The word 'helpful' is defined differently by different people.

Bartholomew Jackson said that, in 1878.

But then in the real world you get comments you dont like or something happens that you dont like but thats life isnt it. This forum exists in the real world or I was under the impression it does but some of the members clearly dont live in the same real world as the rest of us.

It depends how we all determine how a post is unhelpful and rude, unhelpful comments(if aimed at me) i just take it on the chin and dont respond to them, rude comments(aimed at me) again i take it on the chin and dont let it bother me.

Unfortunately there are some pretty inadequate people who post on this forum, they try to deal with their low self-esteem by mocking others. They are probably to be pitited more than anything.
