  • It's you're :cool: It's you're stupid :rotfl:

    I do not understand that sentence at all.

    What were you trying to say?

    I find it quite irritating to have to keep asking further questions when you're trying to help people who are drip-feeding information.

    Could you elaborate on that point a bit, please?

    Yeah, absolutely. I guess some posters, particularly new ones, might not be aware of how much information they can post but it's a bit frustrating to be faced with 'I've got a problem with a company. What should I do?' :D

    The guys signature says 'your stupid' which I found amusing because it should have said 'you're stupid' as in you are stupid :p

  • There tends to be a correlation between posting drivel and not liking the inevitable unsympathetic responses and a later thread along the lines of 'why is everyone so mean on MSE?'.

    If you want help and advice from strangers it pays to stick to a few basic principles..

    * don't appear greedy
    * do have a genuine problem
    * don't throw your teddies out of the pram if someone is unhelpful - the more you draw attention to the posts that have upset your fragile ego, the more others will join in.
    I'd add another to that list.

    Don't moan that people are being unhelpful just because they're telling you you have no legal entitlement to what you want to get and it's not what you want to hear.
