Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

but there is no need to be so patronising or try to put people down, going out of their way to make others look stupid and it just makes you wonder why. If you think the thread or post is so ridiculous just move on, go post elsewhere where you can give advice and help to someone who needs, keeping everyone happy rather than p*ss people off or upset them.
Problem is that "Nice" means different things to different people. I think standing up to nasty people is nice, and being self richeously ignorant is nasty. Other people seem to think standing up to ignorance is nasty. I disagree strongly.
I view myself as nice. I thank nice, helpful people and stand up for them.
I think there are ways of saying things, and some people can be too abrasive with their criticism. But it isn't the case that all criticisms of behaviour are abuse or putdowns, often they are a necessary part of getting to the bottom of a problem.
For instance, it isn't nasty or unhelpful to state that a letter of complaint will (quite rightly) be taken more seriously if expressed in mature English, in paragraphs with good spelling and grammar. Some people will react badly to anyone stating the fact that spelling and grammar is important, and this is a form of bullying, just as much as the kids who surrond the kids who work at school and tell them that being the bright kids in school doesn't make them better than the bullies.0 -

he has the right to think you are stupid = you're stupid
Or he's telling a very funny joke that relies on irony for much of the humour!0 -

When i start a thread id rather people were honest than glaze over the truth for fear of hitting a nerve. But more people seem to be more sensitive to hearing the truth.0
