  • My switching date was 2nd December, and I received the £200 credit last Thursday 15th March.

I'm keeping the Co-Op account as I'm very happy with it.

    Many thanks OP!
  • Got mine too :)

Then immediately contracted First Direct to transfer my direct debits back as by comparison co-op are awful!

Its a minimum of 2 Direct Debits and/or standing orders NOT BOTH

so if you have an account with 2 no. dummy standing orders, say £10 every month to 2no. of your savings account..you should still qualify:A

Does anyone has the original advert?

I rang the customer services as I haven't been paid yet (switch date 15th Nov)
    The chap said
    1) I didn't have DD set in (I had only 2 Standing Orders)
    2) I should have switched my "main" account

But AFAIK, this wasn't the case in the advert.
He has given me the address to send the complaint in writing.

The requirement was to switch all your direct debits and standing orders from your existing account. There had to be a minimum of two payments to qualify for the incentive. These could be either DDs and or SOs

I did transfer "all" DD/SO as I had only 2 SO in that account.
Did they insist on "main" account in the advert ie the account into which our salary goes in? The one which I switched wasn't that sort

You should qualify as you have met the criteria.
There was no mention of "main account"

Post #30 of this thread has details of the offer

My switching date was the 16th. November. I have fully complied with the requirements and have been putting in obver £1000 in each of the 3 months and also now the 4th months.
I have not received my bonus and on telephoning them was told that my bonus can be paid any time up to the 31st March and even into April. My elegibility for the bonus was confirmed.
    .
I commented that I knew that many people with switching dates much later than mine had received their bonus as much as two or three weeks ago. I was told that there was no set pattern to payments and I would just have to wait.

Anybody else in the same positition?

Precisely the same, except I've actually transferred some debits out of the account already, leaving only one there.

I've had a few people confirm that I'll receive the £200 within the time frame you mention and I also tried in vain to request the full T&Cs of the offer, so if they try to pull out I'll have a good old whinge.

Looking forward to being able to close the account. Will keep you updated on any progression.

*cough* Can someone else repeat that for me, I'm sure I read it wrong!

I will rephrase... Accounts with better interest. 5% interest upto £2000 is good, I'm well aware the customer service is awful!
