Hello Freeby,
Well done on all you're achieving. When you write it all down like that it really shows how far you've come.
Once again I'm hoping to start on the fat. I've been really poorly this week, so still feeling a bit weak, but hopefully once that's done I'll be fighting fit and motivated.
Anyway, back to you! Brilliant stuff. I feel inspired again, thank you. x0 -
Good Morning

Firstly, thank you eager_elephant for the link to the meaning of mojo :A
How is everyone today. I've not been around for a bit as life has been crazy but I am still in my motivated frame of mind :T
I went to do my shop on Saturday as usual and for the second week running went in with a shopping list and came out with only what was on my list :j It came to a grand total of £22.90 :j My bank account is certainly showing the benefits of my being so careful but I need to keep going.
I've been capturing lots of NSDs too, which is always a good thing
I had to fight the spendy urges yesterday though and had to sit on my hands and then do loads of housework to keep me off the internet or from disappearing back to Mr T
There was nothing in the house I wanted to eat and I kept thinking that I could go and get something "nice" even though I had no idea what I wanted
I got through it though
and I am rather pleased with myself for riding the storm :rotfl:
I have PADed a bit more to the card over the last few days and I have managed to pay about 4 times the minimum payment they wanted this month. I am determined to get this one gone and getting moving onto the next one but at the same time I feel like I am wishing my life away
I can't win - well I can and I will but I'll be about 4 years older - lol
Nothing much else to report. Nothing much happening today, work and gym, it'll be nice to have a day where I'm not running around like a blue backsided fly
Have a great Monday x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Good Morning

Another NSD in the bag yesterday :j and I am hoping for one today too. I like this being back in control and not spending any unnecessary cash, not that there's much to spend
but I keep telling myself that by being so frugal this month means that next month will be a bit easier and then the month after that and so on
This weekend I know I'll have to spend a bit more on my shopping as we are running out of some basics but I do intend to be very careful and only buy what we need - famous last words
Fat club again tonight  I wonder what the scales of doom will tell me
If I have lost a pound I am still on track for getting to goal in the 5 weeks I set myself.
I have been craving rubbishy food these past couple of days though and although I haven't given in to temptation it's been tough
We do we crave carp? especially when our bodies need the good stuff, I have never ever craved an apple????? :rotfl:
Made another little payment over to the card this morning
Carpital One - you are no longer welcome in my life, I hope you are taking the hint.
I'm still on track to getting rid of it in October and getting closer to it being gone in September with every extra little payment I make
So it is all good.
Have a great Tuesday everyone x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Good Morning

Just checking in
Nothing to report on the MSE front this morning. I managed another NSD yesterday
I can't believe that I have only spent money 4 days so far this month
Just goes to show what a bit of determination and a rather large wake up call can do for you
The bank account, whilst still not looking as healthy as it once did, is breathing a sigh of relief and predicting that I'll be okay this month :T
I lost the pound I wanted to at fat club last night :j so only 4lbs to get to goal now. I have decided to be a ww angel :A this week and follow the plan exactly to the letter and try to hit my goal in three weeks instead of four  Only time will tell though, bodies can be such unpredictable things
The shopping list has been started for 'spendy saturday' and it's a little bit longer than the last two, but I knew it would be
and I'll probably have to buy liquid gold this week too  Never mind, it's all needed and if I can come in on budget I'll be a contented freeby.
I never made a PAD to the card this morning
as my account has stayed static for a whole 24 hours
That's a good thing
Last month things were being debited that I'd forgotten about (or just blanked from my memory
) that I'd paid for using my debit card. I do feel on track this month, I like it :j

Good Morning

Bloomin' heck, where does the time go??? Life seems to be racing along at the moment and I am about 3 laps behind the leader
All is well in freeby land. Two weeks until payday, money in the bank, the majority of the bills have been paid and there is food in the cupboards :j:j
I have clocked up an amazing 24 NSDs this month and my bank account is breathing a sigh of relief. I really needed to do that, not only for my bank balance but to get myself back into being focused and in control. If I can do it in May too then I'll be a very happy bunny
:)
I have also continued paying little bits to the carp one card and have managed to pay them well over 4 times the minimum payment they wanted this month :j I am delighted with that and feel like I can see an end to it. I know it'll be a good few months (probably September) before its gone but it doesn't seem like such a mountain anymore :T or maybe it's because I am in a better frame of mind and not feeling so hopeless. Ask me tomorrow, my mood will probably have changed again by then.:o
Hoping to clock up the last NSD of the month today, work and gym is all I have planned..........my life is just one long party :rotfl:

Good Morning

It's the first of May!!!! Did everyone go out and wash their face in the morning dew????? No....neither did I
Too blimmin' cold out there this morning
Well, I managed a total of 25 NSDs in April. I can't quite believe that I only spent money on 5 days and that was for my grocery shopping. :j I don't think it will be possible to repeat in May but I am going to try my best to get close *insert determined face here*
Fat club tonight and according to my home scales I have put a little bit on
I know why, it's my body cycle  and the little gains I've had are falling into a pattern so I was expecting it.
Have to keep looking on the glass half full side of things, 20lbs lost and my fitness levels are the best they've ever been
I made the last little PAD to the cc this morning before I get the dreaded e-statement tomorrow  It better look good  No doubt I'll be back to report.
According to my spreadsheet I have a little more to spend on grocery shopping this weekend so I am going to stock up on the cleaning stuff etc that costs a small fortune and fill the freezer again so I just have to do top up shops through May. Hopefully, I'll get organised enough so I just have to get fridge stuff after that and save myself a little bit in my May grocery budget.........well, that made sense to me
Now its time for work  Have a great Tuesday x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
25 NSDs is brilliant! :j Well done you!
Good news on the fitness, too. I expect some of the gain may be muscle - take a look in the mirror or put on your old favourite jeans and they will give you an idea.

Thanks Miggy :A
I have noticed a difference in my clothes and the trousers I have on today are a size 10, so I must be doing something right :TFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Good Morning

Nothing much to report in freeby world
I am just plodding away with work, home and gym. It might be very boring but I am enjoying having no unpleasant surprises
I went to fat club and amazingly lost 1 and a half pounds,:j told you my scales were old and unreliable  so 2 and a half to go and on track for being at goal in two weeks. :T
I have also made some more little payments to the cc so that's still coming down nicely and have captured the two first days in May as NSDs.
I am off work tomorrow and have decided to turn spendy saturday into spendy Friday, mainly cos I need liquid gold and I might as well spend all in one day and save another NSD. I am going to trundle off and treat myself to a shopping trip round Mr A. How sad am I if going to Mr A is a treat????? This will be a bigger shop as my budget says I can afford it and the cupboards are beginning to run low again. Tonights tea is quite an interesting combination :rotfl:
So like I said, nothing much to report
