Wooo-oooo! :T:T:TThis will be a bigger shop as my budget says I can afford it
You put these really significant statements in ordinary writing and it would be quite possible just to pass them by, but that's actually such a good position to be in! It proves that (as with the weight loss) you're getting it right. And cc payments too... nice one Freeby!

Oh, Thanks Freeby.
I have to explain that I'm stuck there and really ought to be a stone lighter though (not being on the tall side...). I admire you for working at weight loss and getting results.

sounds like you've been doing so well Miggy.
you've lost an amazing amount of weight, and capturing so many NSD's must be almost a MSE record.0 -
Hello Freeby,
I'm feeling envy towards everyone at the moment. You've hit the weightloss with such ease and all those NSD's on top! I only seem to be able to concentrate on one or two things at a time. You're our very own Little Miss Midas. Anything you put your hand to really does turn out glisteny and gold.
Well done!0 -
Good Morning

Thank you so much for your lovely comments,
but I am not convinced I am as good as you think I am.
I had the day off work yesterday so I spent it in Mr A  Yes, I did spend too much and yes, I was tempted by many lovely things but I did stay in my budget :j so I am pleased with myself. The cupboard is full and I had to shut the freezer drawers with my foot
but I feel content again and I know all the shopping I will be doing for the next three or four weeks will be little top up shops for fresh stuff
I have even written a rough meal plan for May
based on what I bought so I do feel as if I am still in control :T
Thanks to a good MSE month :money: I have surplus in the bank account :j it's a long time since that happened
and I have debated long and hard over what to do with it  At the moment it is staying where it is but I am maybe going to look to open a small second account so I can move it in there and build up a little 'disaster fund'. I dunno, at the moment I just like looking at it
I have spent a happy hour this morning reviewing my budgets and playing with forecasts etc and I have had to be strong and make myself shut the excel sheet down or I could be there all day. No point in saying 'what if' - what will be, will be
*sings a la Doris Day*
So, due to spending yesterday I am planning on a NSD today, almost unheard of in Freeby world
and I've got an essay due in on Monday  why, oh why do I ALWAYS leave it until the last minute

You're amazing Freeby! If it was me, I'd be sitting there looking at it too, but I think the 'disaster fund' is a great idea.Lemon_Tree wrote: »sounds like you've been doing so well Miggy.

Lordy, I skive off for a bit and look what happens while I'm away! You've only gone and got even more inspirational and achievementy (is too still a word)...and what's with those embarrassment smilies?? *cracks knuckles* let's just settle in and sort those out, shall we...
You are. Don't mess with us. Nuff said. :cool:freebyfifty wrote: »
Point of fact m'lud - if you're within your budget, then technically you can't have spent too much... so while being pleased with yourself is nice, and the exercising smilie is, well, exercising (she says with distain) the actual evidence before us suggests that a stonking great YOU ROCK, LADY is required here.:DYes, I did spend too much and yes, I was tempted by many lovely things but I did stay in my budget :j so I am pleased with myself.
Hang on, let me get this straight in my noggin....you managed to load up the cupboard AND the freezer, all within budget?? *sigh* you force me to repeat myself...inspirational....*readies the wet haddock for Freeby-slapping in case of disagreement*The cupboard is full and I had to shut the freezer drawers with my foot
Oh, now just pack it in with those blasted smilies - you've done a meal plan...doesn't matter if it's rough, smooth or mildly textured (leave it alone, Miggy...). That's seriously fab. Honestly - just so impressed with you right now...though not with your smilie judgement....I have even written a rough meal plan for May

:j :j:T:T:T:T:T:T:j:jI have surplus in the bank account
*starts swaying in time* Que sera, sera.... rats, was that the window shattering?!*sings a la Doris Day*
Because you're a student, sweetie, and that's what they do. Usually.I've got an essay due in on Monday  why, oh why do I ALWAYS leave it until the last minute
General hugs!

Missus Knitty, I missed you

Thank you for my virtual kick up the articles
Not much been happening in freeby world. It's all quiet and I am plodding along racking up NSDs, staying focused on my end goal and just living a frugal life generally. It is less than a week to pay day and I still have my little surplus :j so I have decided to take it out of my everyday account so I don't spend it on carp  It will go into a spare account that I've had for years and currently has about 2p in it. The bank might have a severe case of shock when I start using it again
Only 1 and a half pounds to get to target weight at fat club :T I am determined to get there next week. Mostly because I can stop paying then
Fingers crossed.
Oh and I got that essay finished and submitted. Now onto the next one
See, I told you there wasn't much to report and not a sad or embarrassed smiley in sight :TFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
