Wooo -oooo! Look at you! That's absolutely fantastic - soooo well done!
And all the money-stuff too (loving the sig!) - you really are inspirational.
Am just about to do The Shred in your honour (do I look like Jillian Michaels yet? Just asking!) which, if you've ever done The Shred (DVD) is quite an energetic way of celebrating!
I'm so pleased for you.
Hey Miggy - It's a funny old world. I have just been given the Shred DVD TODAY by a friend who no longer does it

LOL, that's really good timing! Probably a bit late for it now but I'd say cheat slightly for a day or two till you get into the swing of it. I still haven't been mistaken for Jillian Michaels but I think I spotted the start of an ab. :rotfl: There's a first time for everything. (TMI?)Miggy

Good Morning

It's been a good week
Payday on Tuesday
And thanks to an error (me - not them) in my tax credits the lovely people there have deposited nearly £300 in my bank account as I was underpaid
and as I pay my car insurance monthly over 10 months this month is free and I'd totally forgotten
I paid the car insurance money to the carp one card and have transferred the other money into my 'disaster fund' where I can (hopefully) forget about it and carry on as normal.
I am fighting all the old urges to go out and spend it
as that is what got me into this mess in the first place and so have taken it out of my bank account and my spreadsheet so it's not there.......now I just need to get it out of my head.
I realise I could just pay it off the cc but I have never had a little bit tucked away so it's staying tucked away for now.
And if there is no disaster between now and the big C in December, I have a head start
Well that's the plan for now anyway.
Thanks to the extra payment to the carp one card it is still coming down nicely and my forecast now says it will be paid in full in September instead of October :T Infarct, after a bit of obsessing over all my snowballs it appears I have brought my Debt Free date forward by a month overall. How good is that, I should no longer be called freebyfifty I should be freebyfortynineandahalf :rotfl: I am aiming for freebyfortynine and I will do it *determined face*
Have a great Friday everyone x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
*readies the freebyfortynine cake* Suitably impressed with you, missus - and I'm not really awake enough to recognise much of anything yet....so I must be reeeeeeaaaaalllllyy impressed with you!0

Good Morning

At last the sun has come out.....well for a day and a bit so far, I hope this is the summer starting for a while because being a true MSE'ver I have the heating off and it ain't going back on until October.
Had, what I consider, a very spendy Saturday  but my budgets and forecasts say I can afford it with a chunk left over because of the payments I got last week :T and my bathroom is now complete (it's only taken about 6 months to be able to afford to finish it
) I have just one more thing to purchase which will be the crowning glory .......bash on Missus Knitty :rotfl: But back to work today and back to DFW ways.
After spending over my original budget on Saturday (£90 overspend) I couldn't sleep for thinking about it and had to get up to check and recheck my spreadsheets until I had convinced myself it was all okay. I thought my sleepless nights over money were in the past but I quite like that I was aware I had spent it and it was bothering me. Kinda proves to me I am focused on my spending.
The carp one card is still coming down nicely
and all my other payments are up to date so I am feeling quite smug and in control this morning. Here's hoping it lasts.
Have a happy, sunny Monday x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Well, bloomin heck, it's ages since I've been here and it's got a bit dusty
I really should come here more often
Things are ticking along quite nicely in freeby land at the moment
I have a little bit of money in the bank, the cupboards are full and the debts are coming down slowly but steadily :T I am in a much better place now than I was this time last year and I hope I'll be in an even better place this time next year.
I knew I was in it for the long haul but some days I am just so impatient and it seems like it is going to take forever and ever before I am in a situation that I am completely happy with. Never mind....as a famous fish once said "just keep swimming, just keep swimming"
I have carried on going to fat club which is even better now that it's free seeing as I have reached my target weight :T and have managed to lose another half a stone. :j I am happy with my weight now and even happier to be in a size 10 jeans :j but to my complete shame I have not been to the gym for over 2 weeks. I have got very lazy
I might motivate myself to go this week.......then again, I might not
4 weeks today until I go on my hodilays :T I have a little bit of money set aside for it but I don't think I'll need that much as it is all inclusive :T so my MSE self says ...'why go into the nearest town to get a drink/meal when its all free at the hotel?' :money: I am going with my lovely DD2 and my parents and they don't agree, they say its nice to get out and explore the area and support the local bars etc  Dafties, have they never heard of MSEing???????
I hope, if there is anyone reading this, that you are all well and happy. I am off to catch up on some diaries now. I have been helping to run and set up the NSD threads so that has pretty much taken over my time I spend on MSE and I am way behind on everyone's news
Have a great Sunday, I hope it stays dry or the ark will have to come out from under the dust sheets in the garage :mad:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

YAY! It's so lovely to have you back and updating. There was never any doubt that you were still on track with everything, but it's lovely to hear the updates.
Well done on all your hard work in MSE land with the threads you're sorting out. Are you an admin now?
It's exciting having an impending holiday to look forward to as well. Plus that extra half a stone you've lost. I'd much rather be the weight you are with no eBaying than this alternative I've created!!!!
Take care freeby. x0
