Good Morning

*runs around room awhooping and ahollering*
I did it!!!! I actually did it!!!! I went to Mr T armed with my list and came out of Mr T 15 minutes later with exactly what was on my list.
I was quite brilliant, even if I say so myself
I did not look at anything else and just went to exactly what was on my list put it in the trolley and left the area immediately :rotfl:
This weeks shopping came to the princely sum of £17.67 :T
I know it'll be more as the month goes on as I use up my stocks but that's a good enough start for me. My wages will last a little bit longer
Nothing much else to report. I have spent the morning obsessing over my spreadsheets again and organising a realistic budget for the month
I have to keep as focused as I am now as just being in control for one week has made a massive difference to my forecast and to my motivation.
Long may this continue :T

:rotfl:I was just saying to Rising From The Ashes that it's an achievementy day - and here you are ramping it up to a sparkly and achievementy day....:T:T:T
And loving the new avatar! Much more appropriate to the fab-ness which is you, missus! :cool:0 -
Good Morning

It is a very sunshiny day here today and I full of energy and motivation to get something done today
I hope it lasts beyond 9.00am
I managed to spend nothing else the rest of the day yesterday but at about 7.30pm last night I had to fight the 'lets get a takeaway' demons off. They were coming at me from two fronts, the MSE back line and the weight watchers side flank but I deployed my army (sleep) and got through it :j I dozed off for half an hour and when I woke up I was through the worst :rotfl: So, all in all, it was not a bad spendy saturday :T
I have great plans for housework and gardening today and so I hopefully will not be spending any money
and will be burning some calories too
I'll sort those pesky temptation demons out.
I have started a new shopping list for next Saturday, well when I say started I mean I have a sheet of paper with the date on it and nothing else
as at the moment there is nothing I need. Through the week I will jot things down but only if we really really need them and try to stay on top of things that way
Secretly I am just happy to have a list of any kind and this is just an excuse
I also have a list of things I want off Missus Knitty's website so I'm going to have to get selling on ebay again. Is it a free listing weekend??? I must go in and have a look. If you ever come to visit and I have no furniture but lots of beautifully painted glass and we are only wearing our bespoke wraps then you know who to blame.......she's the one in the corner with chocolate smears on her face :rotfl:

Tee hee...one of the fab things I'm doing today is revamping a fab leather filofax from the old uber-office-worker days, and turning it into my Nora's Thoughts listing, planning and plotting area...including diary, to do lists for orders and general planner for the various shows and events I intend to be at... *wonders whether there is a 'listing' club which she and Freeby can join*freebyfifty wrote: »Secretly I am just happy to have a list of any kind and this is just an excuse

Yes - it'll be either Missus Lassey (she started it!), or Jobbing...who always steals my choccie! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I also have a list of things I want off Missus Knitty's website so I'm going to have to get selling on ebay again. Good Morning

Just a quick good morning to say good morning and to keep me in the habit of posting in my diary everyday
Nothing much to report after spending a busy Sunday catching up with housework and doing some gardening
Why is a weekend off never a weekend off??? Not to worry, I got loads done and it stopped me from going out and spending money :T So another NSD captured and if everything goes to plan there will be another one safely rounded up today.
I have to admit that I'm glad I have got my mojo back (what is a mojo - will someone please tell me
) I am a happy little Freeby now I can see some money in my bank account. All the essential bills have been paid so I have a roof over my head and heat, light and food so what more could a girl ask for. I paid a minimum to one of the cards this morning so I can tick that one off the list for this month and made a little PAD to the carp one card (I love looking at that balance now and it can only get better
) My focus is focused :rotfl:
Ohhhhh and a little bit of fantastic news, my super duper clever and brilliant DD1 got offered a place at one of the Uni's she went for interview at yesterday :j:j:j
She gets it from her mother you know :rotfl:
Have a brilliant Monday x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hello Freeby,
What a lovely catchup to arrive into! Wooh! I'm very happy you're mojo returned. Do you think your mojo status has anything to do with your cupboards/supplies status? Hmm - too deep again??? Sorry!
But, your last few days have sounded very upbeat and energetic which isn't just lovely to hear but is quite boosting on my mood too!
I hope your Monday was brilliant and that Tuesday can top it! x0 -
Good Morning

Not that there is anything sunshiny about it. It's blowing a gale and tipping down here
Another lovely NSD captured yesterday, I could quite get used to this spending nothing, if only it were possible. 4 weeks until payday
not that I'm counting or anything
and the bank account spreadsheet looks like all will be well - just
I need lots more of these spend free days to give myself a little breathing space again. Although maybe that's not a good idea, whenever I think I have some breathing space then I breath a little too much
Fat club tonight  According to my old scales I have lost a little bit more but the truth will be told on the scales of doom later  I quite enjoy going there, there is such a nice bunch of people and its almost like a night out as we drink coffee and blether for ages
It says something about my life when my social life is attending a weight watchers meeting
Gotta go and do battle with the DD's now......once more into the breach dear friend, once more :rotfl:

Good Morning

Another NSD captured yesterday :T I am feeling very self controlled and virtuous at the moment, I like it
The using up of the stuff in my cupboards is going well too, I no longer have to use my foot to shut the freezer drawers
and I have a very small list started for this weekend which is mainly fresh stuff at the moment.
I am hoping for another small shop on Saturday and I don't care what combinations we have to eat next week
I lost 2 and a half pounds at fat club last night :j so only 5 more to goal
I have given myself 5 weeks to do it in and hopefully I can then drop a little below it. I've not been to the gym for a week now
but I have been out walking every day on my lunch hour and then in the evening with the smallest DD and the dog so I am not feeling too guilty but I am going back tomorrow night or it's just a waste of the money I paid
Hoping today won't be a spendy day but I am going out for a meal tonight. I shall offer to pay but with my fingers crossed that my offer won't be accepted
I'm turning into a right old meany
but it's all in a good cause (my bank account)
Have a great Wednesday x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hello fab Freeby!

You are doing a brilliant job all round! Money, weight and DD... all doing great. I had to stop and say well done, even if certain people seem to have demolished all the choc.
Talking of choc...
is the remaining 5lbs referring to your absolute target weight? I'd be a bit worried if you were aiming to go under that... maybe let your weight settle in for a few months then see how it's looking? It often seems to redistribute after a while especially with you going to the gym.
And a great Wednesday to you, too!Miggy
