Morning Knitty, I luuurrrvvvveeee my free gift and am just planning how to use it very wisely. You can pinch any of my ideas. Pinching ideas is free. Please resist the urge to pinch anything else. Getting out of jail is not free!!

Have a feeling I will be hanging around here a lot today
I've done loads already and feeling very positive. I have cleaned bathroom, sorted washing, load no. 1 on, put something else onto ebay and have rifled through wardrobes and cupboards and now have a small mountain of stuff to put on. :T
I commando styled into DD1's bedroom and liberated two items out of her wardrobe. I have to do this very stealthily as she refuses to part with ANYTHING even if it is 3 sizes too small for her and she hasn't worn them for several years.
I discovered two well known labelled tops I can't even remember seeing her wearing. They will now be put up for offer to a good loving home where someone will use them for the purpose they were designed for and the tops can be free and live in the light.
How much ya wanna bet she looks for them tomorrow!!!
I feel all twinkly........that's the Nora effect :heartsmilFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
This is such an inspiring thread. Love your enthusiasm! Positive thinking is half the battle so you are on your way for sure.
You're putting me to shame though - so far today I have managed to crawl out of bed, feed myself and the dogs, and get on here.... not very productive. And I have a long to do list .....!
Did you know there is a NSD challenge each month? This is October's and they will post a link there to November's https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3520839
So if a little competition helps keep you motivated it might be for you!0 -
Hi mizmir and thank you :heartsmil
I will be away all day tomorrow so that's why I am trying to be productive today otherwise the house will be a tip and the children will have no clean uniforms on Monday morning
I did see the NSD challenge thread but I didn't want to join in in October but I will be signing up for November. I love a challenge ..... and a list.......Oh I do love a good list.

No rain here ...yet! Blue skies in fact. And I thought Wales was always wet!0 -
No, definitely always wet in Scotland and 5 degrees colder than anywhere else, even in a heatwave.

Bloomin 'orrible here! But your Eb*Y enthusiasm has rubbed off - I am aiming for 50 plus items listed by end of weekend - and that will only take care of the 2 boxes on the landing. I have 20 plus 'grocery crates' stacked up in the shed :eek:freebyfifty wrote: »No, definitely always wet in Scotland and 5 degrees colder than anywhere else, even in a heatwave.

Okay, so I am back from Mr T
£16.15 was the grand total. I know, I know it's over the £15 that I said but when I got there I realised I'd forgotten to put potatoes and dog biscuits on the list. Then, because my local tesco is a smaller one from the one they deliver from, there weren't some of the things I saw on t'internet so I had to get something else - grrrr
But, even if I do say so myself, 16 quid ain't bad for a weeks shopping
Two more things on ebay
I was actually quite proud of that until I read your post Igamogam - 50!!!!!!!!!! bloomin' heck!!!!!! Will there be anything left in your house????

I have just found the link to the American site where I found the idea of 'shop at home first'. She also does a good line in beautiful photos.

Oh yes - flippin loads! Have had a long period of hoarding..could analyse why but not going to - mainly to do with not liking waste and being a primary school teacher ,seeing a use in everything! Now I have 'grasped the nettle' its got to go.......Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
