Good Morning.
Yesterday was one of those days that seemed to go on forever
I'm not wanting to wish my life away but when you look at the clock convinced you've been hard at work for about an hour and it's only been 20 minutes it's difficult not to
On the plus side, I got loads done at work and was quite productive - I suppose you have to show willing once in a while
Nothing much happening on the money front over the past couple of days. I have spent nothing
and so far the shopping for a fortnight has worked really well but there's still a week to go before I will let myself shop again. There still seems to be loads in the cupboards and freezer. Took the milk I froze out to defrost yesterday when I got home from work thinking it would be defrosted by this morning but it's still a massive block of frozen milk - DD's will have to have toast this morning
Sold something else on ebay yesterday so I am slowly adding to my little pot in paypal. Good job too, it's DD2's birthday soon so that will come in very handy.
Hope everyone popping in has a fantastic day x xFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -

Hello Freeby,
I watched a programme over Christmas about the moaners guide to work. There was one clip on there where you sit there determined not to stare at the clock but deciding to guess the time. You go through the motions of "I bet it's only 11:30am and I've still got at least half an hour to go before lunch. Not sure I can hold out half an hour. Maybe I'll be lucky and it's 11:45 or later. If it's 11:45 I can waste a little time and then it'll be lunchtime and I can go out for a bit. I really don't think I'll cope well if it's 11:30am. OK, let's look at the time. Here goes. 3....2...1..... Great. It's 9:20" That really resonated with me.
Well done on your ebay booty. It's nice seeing that stock up as a little present buying savings account. I do nPolls and I get $10 credited to paypal after filling out a ton of forms and I've always rushed to spend that money (which works out around £5.40 when translated). I think I'll take your advice and let it build up to a decent amount and then use it for ebay presents.
Well, have a great day and hopefully today will fly by to make up for yesterday. Hopefully the milk will have defrosted by this evening too.

Things I have learned today:-
Ignoring the time on the clock beside your bed does not make it go away
Milk takes a blimmin long time to defrost
When shaking aforementioned milk make sure the top is on properly.
If you wish to straighten your hair the straighteners must be switched on
Putting the washing out in the dark is a hazardous operation
If you want to use your mobile through the day, remember to take it to work
It is not a good idea to use the F word in the morning meeting full of head honchos
Sugar makes a terrible mess when spilled
Bringing the washing in, in the dark is a hazardous operation
Getting into a debate about Scottish independance with someone who actually knows what they are talking about will make you feel very stupid
And it's only 5pm. So many lessons, so little time.
I think I had my Friday the 13th today

Oooo, ouch *hands over last bar of choccie* think you need it more than me Sweetie!
On the F word - just to make you feel better, I shall tell you that I once accidentally threw a tampon at a company Director...had it gripped in my hand on way to the loo, got caught enroute and asked a question - and I'm one of those people who 'talks' with their hands...gestured wildly, opened my hand.... and it bounced off his nose before hitting the floor. Was surrounded by aged men, in a very male-dominated environment. No idea who was more red in the face!!
Anyway, I survived, and so shall you - tomorrow is another day.
