    Good Morning,

I have spent the morning updating my spreadsheets - again :(
Statements are starting to come in and although I am proud that they are all coming down, I have got myself a bit depressed as to how slowly they are coming down :( I just want to get this finished once and for all so my money is all mine. I am doing my best and living as frugally as I possibly can, there is no room for anymore cutbacks but it's just not happening quick enough for me.
I suppose we all have days where it just seems like a huge mountain and I'm not even at base camp one but I will get to the top, I know I will.

Having a day in the house. I was going to list some stuff on ebay seeing as it is a free listings weekend but I don't appear to have that much left that anyone would want to buy. I shall put some bits on but I don't hold out much hope of them selling. Having said that I have one bid for a book I have on at the moment so at least it's better than nothing.

Heck, I sound really miserable don't I??? All doom and gloom, and that's not like me.

Think I'll go and raid the DD's chocolate mountains. They've got that much they'll never notice ;)

I know what you mean freebyfifty. I feel really impatient about paying off my debts even though I've just started! I just can't wait for the day when I get my wages at the end of the month and know that there is 'spare' money. Having the luxury of deciding whether to save or buy something with cash instead of needing to pay back debts will be awesome :D. I must find ways of increasing my income, that's my next big task :)

In the meantime I'm going to take a tip from you and make out a spreadsheet as I haven't done that yet.

    enjoy your chocolate :D

    Morning!

I think Sundays always run the risk of being a little bleugh - don't you? Nothing happens on your bank account, you know you can't really do anything huge re. the debt, and it's only a few hours until work (if you don't work the weekend).

However, perhaps we're looking at Sundays from the wrong perspective? Perhaps Sundays should be the 'try new things' day - that day which serves to remind us all that MSE-ing isn't just about watching the money, but about creating a new way of living....

Spend time outside, walk the dog somewhere new...take a flask of hot choccie with you so you can take a moment and appreciate the great outdoors.

Go for a drive (if you can spare the petrol), or (if you can't afford the petrol) stay in and sort the photo album out.

Make plans with the DDs or yourself/friends for things you'd all like to do or try or learn, or places you'd like to go over the year....

Be creative - always a crowd pleaser...

And for the record, you sailed past base camp a while back - the reason it's a bit difficult today is because at altitude the air is a little thin, and it slows you down - that's all. So take the hint, and admire the view, because just look at how far you've come....:T

And aren't you a lovely mum for helping your DDs out with their chocolate mountain...looking after their waistlines like that....;)

Well I took Missus Knitty's advice and got of my ar$£ and did something. I know that's not what she said.....but it's what she meant :) and I feel better.
Fresh air is free and really does do you the power of good. :)

Didn't get a chance to update my diary this morning. The joys of us all being back to work/school and running around like a headless chicken all morning :(

Managed to pull myself out of my mood yesterday by doing exactly what Missus Knitty suggested. I took the dog out for a long walk and the exercise endorphines and fresh air made me feel loads better. :)

Nothing else much to report so far today. Not wanting to tempt fate too much by declaring NSD #8 so I'll leave that until the morning.

And as I am weary tonight I am off to do a bit of lounging and catching up with my sky+

    Have a good evening :)

Thank you Msdaisy. I had a lovely evening on my couch with my girls watching Martin :money:win on Mastermind :)

3 days until payday :T I'm looking forward to then so I can get F/mans finished. I have been slowly PADing towards that so it's not as much of a final payment as I had planned :) Then I can get stuck into my Carpital 1 card. I like this PADing thing and am a little disappointed when I don't manage to do one everyday. How sad am I? :o
January/February wage has to last almost 5 weeks and I am not looking forward to that one bit. Stretching those last few final days out really tests your motivation. I am looking at my spreadsheet and my predicted spends thinking 'how am I going to do it?' Well, I'll just have to, I have no choice. But at the moment it looks like I'll only have £34 spare for the month

A couple of things have sold on ebay :) I am slowly but surely getting through everything even if some of them are on their 4th or 5th listing. Just goes to show, everything sells eventually. I had great plans for listing last weekend when it was free but only managed a couple of things :o Not very DFW like :o It just seemed too much like hard work and I was very demotivated at the weekend
but as Martin :money: said last night.... 'You have to treat it like a job' and spend real time at it, so I'd better get my finger out next time and make my millions

Ohhhh and I got NSD #8 yesterday with 4 days in a row :T - Sorry Missus Knitty ;)
