It completely can in written word. Just as it does in written word here. What you think is an achievement, what you think obstacles to overcome were, how you describe reasons for leaving.

Haven't seen yours so don't know if it does. But it can.

I have never left a job only ever been made redundant and achievements are listed honestly under headings for each job on the CV. Obstacles I wouldn't list as they are negatives but not sure how a CV shows a bad attitude as agencies have told me I have a good CV and not to change it.

Um, I did not say it did. You asked how it could, and I told you.

And yet, here you are arguing with me!

No not arguing at all, I was stating a fact in replying to your post where it was telling me how it could show a bad attitude.

I would say an achievment is identifying a 300k+ fraud but I'd not put it on my CV as it's bad mouthing the company

Consider this: an achievement might be how you overcame an obstacle.

Quite clearly you are always right. Luck you. To me, it felt like you were arguing. Imagine I am the one with the jobs. Doesn't really matter if you think you were arguing or not.

Many would see your need to always be right and to always have the last word as bad attitude. I for one could not work with you because of it.

Have you considered the possibility that sometimes you are wrong? Or that you are choosing to hear only the feedback you agree with?

I was asking the person how MY CV shows a bad attitude (hence me being out of work for so long)

Yes I am wrong, yeah it was my fault a lost my job - thanks

I guess I will have to seek further advice on my CV from somewhere

    LadyMissA, I'd do it.

My Dad was made redundant in April and is still job seeking. He is willing to work a week voluntary if it means the possibility of getting a job at the end of it.

It's only 1 day which could lead to a job for you. If you don't get it, then hey ho, but at least you can say you have tried.

BTW, I don't understand all the b!tching towards the OP. I didn't see any attitude in her OP at all. And maybe she comes back to have the last word because most people on here are bashing her.
Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...
  • She can't go - she established that - as she hasn't got £10. Which might be why people are a little exasperated.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

How does anyones attitude come out on a CV? Please advise?

Well you have no problem on here so a CV shouldn't be any different.

If you were as good as you think you are, you wouldn't be long term unemployed.

If things are so bad that you haven't got £10 to spare then you really are at rock bottom. Maybe this is where your attitude comes from, the personal feeling of being a failure.

Oh well, good luck with your next interview.
