Right so far this month I have put £300 into my stocks and shares ISA and £250 into my cash ISA towards my trip home.
Total =£550 so far this month :j:j:j0 -
Loving the new look MSE site:)
I'm considering opening a Halifax account to get the £100 bonus. I changed to santander 18months ago for the same thing, but hated barclays so needed a change. Might have to move back again after the 3 months, for the savings accounts though - we'll see.
put bits of change i've found into the sealed pot but i'll leave that until its full. will be nice suprise.
Will have enough over time to pay of debts, put a bit in saves and treat myself to a Kindle :T Then i can be really strict.

Hi all,
Like some have said already £12000 is just not realistic for me. Can you put me down for £6000 please!0 -
Hi Sinvegas
Consider the Kindle not just as a treat, but as a money saving tool. I've saved a fortune on books since I bought mine. x0 -
£2 coin in the pot and £1.45 in the virtual pot today. Can't wait to shock my DH at the end of the month by telling him just how much I have managed to save this month as he has no idea:D I am hoping it will spur him on too:DSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -

me too, I love mine and read it everyday. I have probably spent around £1.80 on books and have over 300!
A cheaper alternative would be to download the kindle app off amazon to see if you get on ok with it and read it on the computer, not as good as hard on the eyes.
Be warned, its addictive, if you enjoy reading then you will love it. I still borrow books from the library if they are too expensive to buy.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

OK. Have managed to regig some one-off money - some interest and other credits/money gifts etc. My total is now £500 for #86. Exciting start but it won't continue like this, so I'll make the most of what extra bits I get while I can! It's going to get tougher for me as the year goes on.0

I would like to add a further £1.39 today please. It is a test to see if a payment I have set up on my bank account works. Thanks.
