Im sorry Emmzi . . I didnt know someone had died and made you the arbiter of what people can and cannot post on a particular thread.
With the proliferation of so many 'I'm off sick for depression and stress' threads, to occasionally question the reasons for / validity of that depression seems perfectly valid to me.
Unless, of course, you prefer these type of threads to be dominated by the usual 'there, there, you'll be alright lovey' responses they usually get and - most likely - actively seek.0

Can we get this thread back on topic please?
OP came on here for advice concerning a meeting with her employer. There is no reason to suppose that the reason for her sick leave is anything other than genuine, and suggesting otherwise (on no facts) is likely to deter her from seeking help on here again, should she need it.
The discussion/debate re gender and levels of stress related absences should be the subject of a separate thread, as it does not address OP's concerns and the resulting discussion is likely to derail this thread.
ThanksI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
