The post offered help to another poster. If indeed the MSE team feel the rep has broken rules by posting a helpful email address in the body of the post; in the context of the post it's inconceivable to perceive that as touting for business. Regardless, that's for the MSE team to address.

On the contrary, it's not that much of a stretch to conceive the reporting of such a post as childish and vindtictive. Especially when posting on reported posts in the thread is a breach of the rules. No doubt you'll have good reason why the forum rules don't apply to you?

It was others who are commenting more about it that I am, including yourself....

I simply reported the fact I had reported the post. To which others started going on about it.

In fact, your still going on about it. Should you not be trying to remain on topic?

Do you have any advice at all, that relates to the question posed in the thread?

So did I. I suppose I expected the usual suspects to at least be pleased that the ATOS rep was here.

I would not bother again if I was the ATOS rep. They give their free time up and it is still not appreciated.

Dear ATOS rep, are you 'giving up your free time' to post here?
Are you not actually acting on behalf of ATOS in a official capacity, as is claimed?
Can you let those who do not believe your claims to be doing so, know if they are correct?
If your claims are false, who should we report this to?

Personally, I have no reason to doubt the claim they are acting in a official capacity, as per this claim
    Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Atos Healthcare

But some seem to think you are just doing it in your free time, rather than as a paid employee or contractor for ATOS whose duties include this particular role.

I do that anyway with ANY official correspondence and would be no different with ATOS. It is just common sense.

    You might, others may not.

If its common sense to do so, you would think it would part of the advice given.

So in your world, ATOS again fail because they don't tell people to use the brains they were born with?

Are we permitted to bring a dicta phone with us for future evidence of what was actually said as opposed to the many reports of someone different reports been submitted by ATOS after the interview,

    In short - no.
If you ask permission beforehand to record, ATOS will state that you need to comply with stupid and expensive conditions - there is however a recent court judgement saying that if you get prior approval, any sensible equipment such as two dictaphones in principle can be used. (one tape for ATOS, one for you).

This will be at best problematic.

If you turn up at your interview, and say you're going to record it, the healthcare professional has the option of refusing, and if you don't back down, you will be marked as not having attended the medical.

The best option is probably covert recording.
Check your phone (or whatever) can give a good recording in your pocket or bag, and set it going before going into the waiting room.

This can be used as evidence at a tribunal, if the tribunal consider it's relevant, though you may find a transcript of the conversation is easier.

Well, some may have full confidence in the postal service - just as some may have confidence in Atoss. Personally, I have confidence in neither.

Sounds like another Atoss astroturfer to me (to go along with the others on this site already). Maybe a call jockey who feels the need to speak up in defence for 'his' company.

I think you need to keep copies of what you have sent for your OWN information, nothing to do with the postal service or ATOS. As I say, I keep copies of douments of all official transactions. I have sent stuff to a solicitor today and photocopied everything before I posted it, just so I know what I sent him and when. IMHO, it's just common sense to do so.

There is also alledged reports of allegations of ATOS body and bag searching claimaints before medical to look for recording devices.
I have aimed a question at the ATOS rep about these reports, to see if they can comment on if they are true or not, but they have not answered.

Which is against the rules, something you seemed keen to point out to the atos rep yet fail to acknowledge applies to you.

So, why do you think the rules don't apply to you, specifically this one?...
