ESA form send to ATOS and decision maker?

Hello,
You need to send your Limited Capability for Work Questionnaire (ESA50), together with any additional information such as medical reports to the regional Atos Healthcare centre that is dealing with your case in the pre-paid envelope provided to you. If you are asked to attend a face to face assessment, you may also bring additional medical information with you to your assessment, which will be considered as part of the assessment and, with your permission, copied and added to your file.
After your assessment is complete, we will return your file, including all documentation you have submitted to the DWP office dealing with your case.
When the decision maker considers your case and makes the decision to entitlement of benefit, he/she will look at all evidence available to them which will include any information you have submitted and the medical report compiled by our healthcare professional.
If a duplicate copy of the completed ESA50 and any other information is sent to the decision maker at the same time as it is sent to us, it will simply be added to your file and the decision maker will have two identical copies of the information.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact our customer relations team if you have any further questions regarding this issue: custrelations@atoshealthcare.com
Kind regards,
Atos Healthcare Customer Relations
Why do you put the 0800 0556688 number at the top of these letters when that is the number for new claims? and they can't help with any questions relating to the ESA50 ?
Don't you think after all these years of having the wrong number at the top of the letters it would be a good idea to get the number right?0 -

The decision maker is meant to look at all evidence available to them which will include any information you have submitted and the medical report compiled by our healthcare professional.
How can ATOS possibly state as a fact the decision maker will do so?
Unless ATOS are physically present during the decision making process and or review each decision to ensure it was done.
Evidence clearly shows, that in many cases decision makers have not been looking at all the evidence.
To tell claimaints the decision maker WILL do so and not mention the very real possiblity they may not means if the decision maker DID NOT look at all the evidence, and the claimaint assumes they had [due to the advice officially given by atos], they could be disadvantaged at appeal, if they do not bring it to the attention of the DWP or Tribunal panel that procedure was not followed.
I note also, that the ATOS rep, has still not answered the multiple previous questions from many people, or addressed any of the serious concerns raised.
I also wonder, why they are posting on a thread, and then directing people to reply off-site rather than on thread, as per usual forum convention and norms? Normally, if you are discussing an issue, you would expect replies to take place on the same site, so others can read them and be helped to.
It would not be much of a forum, if everyone posted a thread or a reply, and just said email me your comments, and people did so instead of replying surely?
Is atos saying this is how they operate on this forum, post something, then direct communication off site, or is that meant to be in conjunction with further replies from atos, and they simply misworded it, when they may have meant if you have any queries you would prefer being dealt with in private please email, whilst in the mean time keeping an eye on the site for follow ups?

medical report compiled by our healthcare professional.
Have ATOS dropped LIMA now?
Surely LIMA is the tool that generates the report, with input from the healthcare professional [apart from say hand produced reports].
Are atos stating the software is not responsible for compiling or generating any of the content of the report now? Thats how it reads to me?
Can I use that as evidence, ie - if a report is innacurate, ATOS have stated the reports are compiled by a healthcare professional, so they will be unable to blame the software?[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

I just read this, and as a person with mental health conditions I want to know how you can justify not opening your own post? Do you think it's right that people who aren't decision makers or Atos employees have easy access to our very personal information?
I want a guarantee that my very personal information is not going to be a subject of jokes in a sorting office! (I can't post the link here apparently)
"Now, it comes to light (FOI request) that once your ESA50 form speeds on it's way to the day of reckoning, it will be opened first in a royal mail sorting office, bundled into relevant piles and only then sent on to the correct department."0 -
Perhaps if you two got a life and did something useful instead of spamming forums with self indulging threads we would all get some peace.
How's the perm?
BTW: some scousers like myself don't have a perm - sorry if you fail to understand facts like this.0
