    Good afternoon everyone,

Thank you for all the virtual hugs, feel like i really needed them today - im still feeling shell shocked at the prospect of losing one of my best friends so quickly. I know we will be able to chat on MSN, and the holidays would be lovely, but still not the same as having her live at the top of the road!!!! But, never mind, it will be a really good move for her, and i do hope it comes off for them, hope we hear soon because if she is going, it has to be February (she will be studying at university, and its the Australian summer, so term starts then, rather than our September) and it would be nice to spend some time saying goodbye, rather than a quick up and go!!!!
Been keeping busy so far, lots of cleaning done, and dressing up, cooking and making pictures with the LOs. One is playing cars on the floor now, as the other one is having a sleep on the sofa, so nice and peaceful at the mo!!!!

dlb - shame they had to move the fence, but nice of the inspector to give you an 'insite' to the old witches house!!!!

Right, going to play cars now - have a lovely afternoon,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hi everyone.
School was closed today for the children as our roof is still unsafe after part of it was blown off yesterday. The staff went in until lunchtime and we had a few meetings and did some tidying up and then we were allowed to come home early. So I had another quick look in the Boots sale and came home to do some school planning.
I am really tired today and don't feel like being a 'BusyGirl' so after collecting the kids, I think we'll have a chippy tea! :j

    Hi Everyone
Greetings from very sunny Derbyshire! Just a quick note before I walk to my children's school in order to organise 'Friday Tea'. This takes place every week and classes take turns to organise it.
We all donate cakes and biscuits, homemade preferably... being a Steiner school, people can be a bit particular about this sort of thing. However, I had no time bake today so marched off to Somerfield and bought jamtarts and fairycakes. Little bit of 'product tampering' ( mandhandling them a little bit) they look very homemade indeed...:shhh:

    Have a great day

    Afternoon all,

Haven't had a chance to post for a couple of days - absolutely mad

Yesterday's interview was alright - I don't think I'll get it though, he kept on stressing that I was experienced with electronics, not electrical. They said they'd ring today, either way.

Had a really awful day yesterday - hardly got any sleep, so felt dreadful when I came back, just didn't want to do anything. Anyway, we went out for a walk around the Hoe - almost got blown into the sea :), but it helped me feel a bit a little bit better

Today - OH fell off his bike when he was cycling to work, and took a rather large chunk out of his knee  Whilst bandaging it, he's managed to get blood all over the rug, the carpet, and a few towels and flannels. They're currently soaking in cold water/bleach - I've given the carpet a scrub with cold water and salt. So, he is currently sat on the sofa feeling sorry for himself.

Have put a load of washing on the airer and am currently doing some Ebay listings. Not too sure whats for dinner yet...

Hello everyone, haven't posted in OS for a loooong time but thought I'd pop in! I've decided that I need some new baking trays/tins as the lovely fruit sponge I just made as a surprise for the kids has stuck and fallen apart (grumbles to self), any recommendations? :)

Taplady tell me how you managed the 10,000 steps! I had a pedometer but I averaged about 17000  I would love to cut down LOL
Got some goodies in the veg box - including my fave sweet potatoes which we will have with the chops, and celery which only I will eat - have to climb up the cupboard (literally) and get the juicer down again :rollyes:
