Jellycat - hugs and thoughts. Try to have 40 winks - might make you feel better. Try not to worry too much. Does your DH have any insurance for loss of earnings as he is self employed? Don't talk to me about hamsters - I am still recovering from Cookie going AWOL at Christmas. DD convinced I bought a new one instead of facing up but was able to show her the wee pale patches in fur she actually pointed out to me!

DH has just polished off half a slow cooker full of soup and DDs have enjoyed the chicken chow mein I made with noodles, chicken, onions, red and green peppers and soy sauce.
Going to have a quiet evening and read a library book or surf on here as I cannot face the ironing.
Hugs to pennypincher and everyone feeling poorly.

    Hi all:j

Busy day here, finished cleaning my oven this morn and cleaned my breadmaker out last night as it was smelling of a burning smell, there was some bits of stuff down at the bottom which resembled charcoal:eek: so now bonny and clean:D

Had vents put in, as we have a prob with mould in the kids bedroom, so all cupboards are getting new vents, he came up yesterday, but only had 2 vents and needed 8!

Came to day at 9 and was sat outside for 30 mins eating pies/doing crossword:rotfl: then started doing vents, only managed 3 before his drill died on him, so is going to come up tues to finish!!!!!

Went to tesco to get a few bits:D not many bargains

Made sausages in curry, tasted lovely, had this with pasta

Squishy - Glad your tooth extraction went well, see told u it wouldnt be so bad:D Hugs:D

    Hugs to all

squishy - I had to have two teeth out just before I went to Hong Kong/China May last year. Insisted I had early appointment as I am a dentist phobic. Was surprised how well I felt after jaw came back to normal. Just be careful with hot drinks until tomorrow and also be careful how you clean teeth for next couple of days. Use a bit of mouthwash if you can just to keep mouth fresh. After tomorrow, you probably won't notice and you will eat normally.

    Hi Kyle

You sound happier today - shame about the vents. When someone comes to do a job you just want it finished. Hope when done it sorts out problem. Are you in a old house (not meaning to sound funny) but obviously ventilation is being a problem!

    Hi guys

Ended up being naughty and buying a cappuccino and chocolate bar from work cafe (not very OS :() to inspire me to work, and then promptly spent more time on here!

Thanks for your kind words BargainRzl and your reflections grannybroom. I keep looking on ebay to see if any of my stuff is being sold. I should stop thinking about it really! I feel so guilty for have being in work today and achieving nothing. Oh well, I'm going to log off in a minute and go home to tidy my small room before sister and bil come to stay. Gbroom, I've been hitting minimise all day!!

Thanks for keeping me cheered up today :)

    Hello everyone!

Gosh am I shattered! Am so glad that it's Friday, but the weekend is going to go too fast!

I don't think I'll be up to much OS this weekend... am not in the mood! I'm tired from the past 2 days supply (have a week there next week too) and am just going to crash tonight. Might even have a takeout...naughty I know! Got my friends hen night tomorrow, and am doing a party on Sunday afternoon.

All the hassle surrounding our dog is making me so ill... my anxiety has sky-rocketed and I don't want to lose my little baby. Ever since we've moved here, they've been determined to get us out. There are so many other people here who cause a lot of trouble, but we're the ones who are penalised. We are being driven to get rid of our dog, but oh yes another woman in our building has had hers for 3 years in her flat now! My Nan said that she'd look after our lil one if push comes to shove (as we can't afford to sell up at the moment... not to a house anyway, and I'd hate to live in a complex like this again) but why should I have to give him away? They are trying to make out that he is a health and safety risk now as he does his business on the balcony.. we clear it up straight away and clean the balcony on a very regular basis... they are just coming up with these lies saying that his 'business' goes everywhere, onto the ground below and onto other peoples balconies. I can't handle this anymore, I really can't!! :(

Sorry for being so depressed and low, but I needed to let it all out!
