It's a shame iPhone users have to wait so long for these ideas to be planted in to the phone. Android has had these features or similar ones for a loooong time.

Can someone please help me?

When I upgraded to iOS 5 and my iTunes restored from the back-up, it seemed to restore everything but my music.

However, going into iTunes and checking my iPod in there, my music is actually on my iPod but it's not appearing on my iPod under "music". The gigabyte size that my music is showing as is in "other".

How can I make it so that my music appears on my iPod? I know that the "other" bit is the size of my music because I deleted a load of tracks the other day and noted what gigabyte it had got down to.

Okay, now audio is showing as 8GB but "other" is showing as 9gb, so in effect I've lost 9gbs and have no idea where it is.:o

just synced and updated, but what difference is there for an iphone3 and ipad user, only thing ive seen so far is a shared computer now showing.

Theyve deleted the "IPOD" app in this one and have created like a music bit so probably something to do with that. I would remove the older folder ("other") and resync bearing in mind other also includes thins like the OS so be carefule these arent deleted. Alternatively do a "restor to factory" on your phone (make sure you have back up) and resync that way

Iphone 3 it shouldnt work on?!?! It does on the 3GS though!
