At least I didn't know the name of it...:p

I must admit, I spelt it wrong when I first googled it.
Am I the only one who is staggered that there is still a market for the stuff - well, other than for Banwa's step-kids that is! ;)

Some people like their bottom spanked...

I personally, choose Andrex... (it was on special) ;)

Been, your husband leaves the fridge door open too? I would be swinging
    - if you squeeze the loo roll - you know to make it not so round so that when you pull the loo roll you'll only pull 1 or 2 sheets forward as it won't roll so easily? I actually thought this was a genius idea and hope its of help :D

I tried that. They just squeeze it back into shape:cool:
I like the buy the cheapest horriblest loo roll idea better :D *mwaahhaaaahhaaa*

ScarlettOHara, thanks for dropping by. We don't normally spend so much time talking about loo roll, honest:D

Nora I remember Izal well. Although I would have never have remembered the name ZTD. Can you really still buy the stuff?

Hello everyone and a belated Happy New Year

Good Things since I last posted:j
    • Been to 2 social gatherings and had a wonderful time without breaking the bank.
    • The post-Christmas cleanup is all out of the way
    • Feeling quite optimistic about getting healthy
Bad Things since I last posted:exclamati
    • Mr B only got paid £100 instead of £400, we're not sure why yet
    • Feeling a bit down-hearted about the slowness in debt repayment. I am the sort of person who needs to see results to stay motivated. I knew that decemeber would be slow, but now with the car repairs, January will be slow too. Especially if we are missing £300.

I've been talking for years and years about doing a triathlon and wondering if this year I should actually do it. I am so unfit now but maybe if I entered one it would give me the motivation to get fit. I will be rubbish but if I just completed one it would be a huge acheivement for me.

That said, I only got on a bike for the first time in 16 years last summer and I was so slow that even old men with beards on shopper bikes could overtake me:D

    That'll do for now

Sounds like a fantastic challenge Banwa :D. It would be a huge achievement, but you seem to be a determined lady, so I'd say go for it! :T *easy for me to say :o*

Doing a triathlon would be such an achievement, I'd be so jealous. I would like to do one myself but keep making excuses - too unfit, cannot swin very well, no-one to train with! Not enough time, etc

I wish you well in achieveing sp? your goals.

  • Loads of training to do for a triathalon but you can do it! I get too bored running to go any sort of distance running training - desperately need to get back into come classes though.
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again
  • oh wow that would be an achievement for sure! And get you healthy at the same time i say go for it (again easy for me to say though, :rotfl: ) !!

I hope you manage to get your missing £300 back! :D
