What do I do with Rosemary?

I've used rosemary to make flavoured olive oil before - just put a nice looking stem in a bottle and top up with olive oil and let it steep for a week or two. It's lovely for cooking lamb or roasting potatoes/veggies.
Might even be an early idea to set aside for Christmas pressies?? I had a year when I was severely short of cash and gave lots of presents in bottles/jars (cookies, layered soups etc). Fun to put together, lovely to receive and sooooo soothing on the Christmas budget lol.
I did that one year with the children as Christmas presents for their teachers.
We used old sauce and oil bottles, put in various herbs in the oils and plums in the vinegar, bought corks from the home brewers and then dipped the top of some of the bottles in molten candle wax (for those ones we gave spare corks to use once opened) and for the others we covered the corks with gingham strips wound around and tie with raffia.
One teacher said they looked too good to open but she might have meant that if the children had made them, they looked too dodgy to open ;D0 -

Thank you all so much for your great ideas.
I've dried some.....made rosemary flavoured oil out of some (added a bit of garlic).....used skewers on the barbeque idea (seriously delicious lamb kebabs).....even rinsed my hair in it............and there's still some of the d*mn stuff left!
Sick of the sight of it by now, so admitted defeat and bunged the rest in the freezer to see if it freezes.
Thank you all again.

I cut back our rosemary bushes today and now have a carrier bag packed with clippings... any ideas what I can do with it? Most of the clippings are about 20cm long.
I'd thought of maybe making some flavoured olive oil for Christmas presents anyone got any good combinations involving rosemary?
Thanks in advance!0 -

Hi
I did this a few years ago & just left the open carrier bag in a cool place & they dried out over a couple of weeks. Then I tore the leaves from the branches and still have a zip-loc bag of them which I use in cooking, and saved any decent twigs to use as skweers on the the BBQ:D

Edit : sorry about underlined text, Spud has just thumped the keyboard & I can't get it to change now. At least I managed to change it back to black text from purple though!
