Rant - tom cat harassing my cats

Can not have another cat, no way - besides they want their cat they just have that backward mentality as to what is involved in looking after one, they see no problem with cat not being vaccinated/flea/worm treated, chipped, neutered.
12 flats for the communal garden, garden is big, no way of topping u the fence... sigh...0 -
Sorry, what I meant was not top up the surrounding fence, but build your own small enclosure somewhere in a secluded part of the garden. I know this sounds like a major job but if you have any male friends (sorry to be non-feminist lol
) who are handy with a spot of DIY they might be happy to fix something up for you in return for a case of beer!
Obviously the other residents would have to be asked first, but if the garden is as big as it sounds I can't see why they wouldn't let you fence off a small area of it - about 10'x4' would allow your cats to stretch their legs and get some fresh air.
Failing that, I suppose there's no chance you could move away and live somewhere else? Drastic I know, but it sounds like you'll never get this resolved while you live where you do.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

A couple of people are blaming tom cats getting into their houses, and impregnating their female cats, why not have your own cats done then? saves any unwanted pregnancies!0

The cat is beautiful, all jet black, long haired with bushy tail - skin and bones under that fur but with a bit of TLC he would be absolutely stunning. Lovely nature too, one day when I went to bang on their door after another cat fight, they were not in but the cat came up to me (they do not have a cat flap) as as angry as I was - seeing him that close for the first time, poor thing was limping and asking for cuddles.. gave him a good scratch all over, purring like mad, felt a lot of scars on him and had a flea under my nail.. ended up going back home and taking him water and dry food and leaving it for him outside his front door - it was one of those really hot days and the poor thing had no way of getting indoors while his owners were out... The cat is very friendly to people, wants cuddles and attention but because of the state he is in - people do not like him coming up to them so I feel double sorry for him....
But no, I could not take him in as they do not want to "get rid" of him as such, they just simply have no idea how to look after him properly....And my Teddy is at the receiving end of this.. Teddy demolished the draft excluder from the front door today, very unhappy not to be allowed out and does not talk to me now - went to sleep in the bathroom, that means he is upset with me.. sigh...
