    Hi all,

Dinah - I started reading your original diary, even though I'm reading this one at the same time! Gosh, you all do ramble sometimes! :rotfl: Only joking! It's all very interesting what you write, and I'm constantly making notes.

I hope all is going well with the repayments. I've updated my signature to have EVERYTHING I owe, which greatly depressed me, hence I had to write how much I've paid so I'm not disheartned.

I've asked my BF if we can sit down (no arguments, accusing or "you should know better" talks) about the debt he has (honestly, no hiding) so we can tackle this together

I hope this way we can finally tackle our debt and money as a couple - and not just two people muddling along.

    Will report back

Congrats greenie, I always find it like a weight off in and of itself when I face up to what I owe. I'd feel even better if the word 'always' wasn't in that sentence. Good luck for your talk.
*ooo two posts on this thread in one day can I cope with the excitement!*

I did the S*ntander thing a few years ago and thought (although I got 100 pound) they were the MOST useless pile of crap of a bank EVER.
Fees for this and that, online stuff rubbish, so just be careful

    xxx

I've actually been with them before, and yes, they were dire. Hoping to use them as little as possible just to get the £200.

I’ve read all the "ultimate Incentive" diaries from the beginning (although I skimmed a lot, so I hope there isn’t an exam :p). Having finally reached the end I started feeling like a voyeur so I had to poke my nose out and say hello to all the ladies (and Poolie and NIM)!

Dinah, good luck with the new debt busting, but don’t compromise your health just to finish a few months earlier!

I said the exact same thing! Never again!

I've done a lot of stupid challenges, I'm trying to think before I say "YES! I'll do that. How hard can it be?" :p

    Hey Dinah,

I have subscribed to this thread, didn't realise you had a diary on the mo at the moment! At some point I will go back and read it all, as I know you always have great money-saving tips :p

    Morning! Welcome lurkers! :D

I seem to have caused a stir at work for some reason, it's 'Wear it Pink' day so I decided to really wear it pink; pink stripey dress, pink tights, cardy, scarf, jacket, jewellery, shoes, eyeshadow, lipstick and flower in my hair! :D The folk in this office don't tend to get into the whole dressing up thing (all the other women are wearing either a pink t-shirt or a pink scarf- boring!) so the word has spread that I'm a vision in pink and the chaps keep popping down for look! Good job I didn't wear my Barbie dress as I'd originally been contemplating, they wouldn't get any work done! :rotfl:

On a sadder note, OH will be on the plane now :( I'll miss him... but I think I'm going to miss having a housekeeper more! As I was legging it out the door this morning, leaving a trail of bunched up duvet and toast crumbs behind me it wasn't very nice knowing that it'll still be there when I go home! :o He has made me my sandwich for lunch though, bless him! :D
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Lol at the imagery here Birdie. I can just see the Duvet trailing behind you and the crumbs being left behind like hansel and gretle :rotfl::rotfl:
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.
