sorry to scare you but another lurker hereI've read most of the diaries now, think I might have missed out one in the middle so Im going to go back and have a read. Will try and join in with Nov goals next but baby is due on the 17th so might have to be decembers instead.
I'm not scared that easily, makes Birdie jump thoughI wouldn't worry about the middle - we natter a lot but there is a reason I'm back in debt!
Best of luck with the birth, do you know what you're having?thevinternet wrote: »Hey Dinah,
I have subscribed to this thread, didn't realise you had a diary on the mo at the moment! At some point I will go back and read it all, as I know you always have great money-saving tips
I always have a diary on the go.... for all the good that does me.

You're not too far from the truth there NIM!
If you dare to ever stop your diary Dinah I'll come and find you and give you a good shake! I'd have to actually work instead of rambling on here all day! And I'd miss 'seeing' my girls!
Oooh I love the sound of an afternoon complaint writing session, how cathartic!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hello new lurkers
Tea and cake sounds lovely and relaxing - enjoy it!
Gosh Birdie I don't know if I have one item of pink clothing, apart form my day-glo running jacket thing! You totally should have worn your Barbie dress. I realised at about 11.30 last night that I haven't started on either of my Halloween costumes yet and I'm at work all day today and out tonight - eep! Need to sort myself out with one of those Gantt charts!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I'm meeting my mum for lunch today, so that means free eats!

I have two of my cats as my avatar on dooyoo, maybe you've seen it on there as I use the same name...? The one is a kitten in it but is a fully grown 4 year old now so should probably change it! (He's the mental one who 'helped' with all the packing on moving day, we actually refer to him as Simon's cat now Tete! When he's being naughty I tell him I'm going to send him to live with Simon)
And yes - separate colours for the skittles vodka. I haven't actually tasted it yet which is a worry, am putting it in test tubes for the party as I'm going for a kind of 'Doctor death/House of Horrors' theme. This would be why I'm in debt! Frivolity!
Candy Cane vodka has got me extremely excited Birdie, you're a genius!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -

I had to Google that to find out what a Gantt chart is... then realised that we use them at work all the time, I just didn't know what they were called!
What are you dressing up as for Halloween?
Yay to free eats Greenie! I'm hoping for free eats tomorrow as I'm going for lunch with Mum before going to the hat shop!
I was going to wear my Barbie dress but it's been in the back of the wardrobe since January and is now all foisty and a bit green in places (ewwww, when will I not have a mould problem?!) and the skirt is so frayed that I worried about putting it in the washing machine in case the skirt disintegrates and gets all caught up in the drum! It's also too big to hand wash in the sink! It has only just occurred to me right now that I could have washed it in the bath!
ETA: Can I come to yours for Halloween Shrimpy?! Sounds awesome!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That sounds like a brilliant party Shrimpy! Haven't been on Dooyoo in yonks - it's the pic on here that I'm talking about - out of the corner of my eye it always looks like a playful cartoon kitten!
Birdie the mould sounds lovely! You could have worn the dress anyway and gone for a Halloweeny Corpse Bride twist? I'm being a rag doll on the night but also we're supposed to do our morning run in fancy dress, was going to make a dress and capey thing but might be a pound shop jobby instead!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I did mean to quote Dinah's post about meeting her mum for cake.
My post did just look like I said "I'm getting a free lunch. Bye!"
We were going to go to Alton Towers tomorrow for the Scarefest thanks to the 50% off voucher from Tesco, but it would be really busy (it being the holidays and a weekend) plus it would be a lot of money and driving. Maybe next year.
I think we are just planning on getting dressed up, sitting in the living room and watching scary movies!DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

I did exactly the same thing! The irony of it did strike me - googling ways of mapping productivity instead of actually just doing my work!
And you are all welcome to my party but I think it may be a bit of a trek as I'm in the Midlands! Will post some piccies if I figure out how.
I can't make the teapot into a kitten Tete (haven't just been squinting at the screen trying to or anything) but I never could do those magic eye pictures!
