I've been unclear, I know it wasnt intended that way, I'm just saying it read a bit that way...I kinda felt left outThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Hehe Tete, I'd have been too ashamed to wear them outside if that helps matters, they'd be the world's poshest (and sparkliest) slippers!
NIM, agree with Tete that TPA's post is just aimed at Dinah's thread, and TBH when any of us talk to Dinah about your money we do mean both of you as it's all joint, it's just easier to speak to Dinah as she's here more than you and I CBA to say Dinah & NIM all the time. So untwist the knickers!
You really should have kept the earrings for Christmas though, waggy finger for you!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

As I say, I'm weak when it comes to her. I want her to have everything and have it yesterday. Soppy I know but tis true. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
In all fairness NIM, anything we ever say about your money situation will will 90% of the time be said to Dinah because, well, she's our girl!
And yes, I do come up with some pretty fabby sayings. OH says most of the time it's like I don't know which word to use so just use them all.
But woooah, stop the Ugg hate! I'd rock those sparkly mother lickers like it's 1999!0 -
But you're cute enough to carry them off Cinny! I think I'm just too big (not fat per se, but I'm just not dainty!) for them. I can't even wear skinny jeans so what the heck would I wear with them?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Jaysus NIM, TMI! Though I suppose we should be thankful you're wearing anything at all, given your moniker!
I quite like the socky uggs, but could never pay that much for boots which aren't even waterproof!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Shrimpy, they're really garishly yellow on the Ugg site but if you look at the Neiman Marcus website they show the true colour which is much softer!
They're still *something* though!
Agree about the socky Uggs Tete, would be scared to wear them outside! Fell in love with a leather pair which had a slight wedge (didn't look at all Uggish) but they were about $300 so had to put them back and of course I can't find them online now to show Mum and pout!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Ahh shiny new thread
Hi hi everyone!
Cinny, you're looking very trim in your blog picciesI think you are such a pretty lady, at whatever size.
Ahh Dinah and NIM, good that you're in the debt-busting mode again. Hope this is a fresh start for you as I know it does put extra pressure on trying to make extra money. I am skint at the mo and tired of doing all the extras too (and I don't seem to be able to achieve half of what you two do!)
I am sure you're looking forward to enjoying marriage and house-ness without any debt. FWIW I wouldn't include the car debt and student loan, as I think Martin might argue these are 'good debt'. Just as your mortgage is not included. (Also it freaks me out as I am £15k in debt from student loan) I second TPA and think you would make incredible MFWs someday soon. I hope you're able to clear the debt you have as quickly as possible. I'd love to see you on the other side with 6 months' wages savings.
As you say yourselves holidays and food seem to be the two biggies. Slashing and burning the SOA is full on and in my view a time-limited activity. Reckon you have to find a balance that suits the two of you between sacrifices and spends. Not sure i have found that myself but trying to

Sorry to leave you out NIM, the comments were for both of you. Yes you are too soft (lovely but you cannot afford to be like that at the moment!)
The MS company that do those shops take two months to pay, are you buying the items on a CC? If so you could well be looking at a loss on these jobs overall.
