I'm sure you'll find some lovely boots Wendz, there are lots of nice things in the shops right now! I'm hoping that when my Mum takes me to get a new coat she feels the need to buy me some nice new boots to go with it!
I need to hit the gym tonight too, I really have to get back into the swing of it!

I haven't been on a treadmill for a long time - it was hard to make the move from that to outside but once I had I loved it. We have a gym at work but I'm finding it hard to get away from work at lunchtime and by 5pm I'm so drained I just want to get home
Cinny that's mean calling your OH curvy! You've made him effeminate as well as chubby!

Psssh, he shouldn't be such a wuss. He calls me much worse, we only wind each other up!
Maybe you should push yourself to go to the gym anyways Tete? Just once, it's horrible but you might feel better for it. If your body's gone from running and trekking to near nothing it might be feeling a bit blue itself! But for now have your jaffasOooh, I miss them!

Have fun shopping Wendz! I haven't been shopping with OH for ages for a birthday present, sounds great!
Both my babies are asleep which is a rare miracle
I haven't weighed myself for about 3 weeks but the last time I did I was about 8 stone 11. I am happy with that as I was 8 stone 7 before I got pregnant and love being that weight, I always feel nice and slim and am a size 8 on top and 10 on bottom.
Dinah - I nearly splurted out my tea when I read about the ringtone. I love it!

Gosh you are teeny tiny CMD! Can't remember being 8st 7... was probably before I hit puberty!
I will never cease to be amazed by what you can find on the internet, I just had a flash of an idea for a bit of a theme for my SIL's hen party (which is actually just a meal out, not very exciting in comparison to my brother's 4 days in Spain!) since she's a farmer's daughter and her Dad breeds 'Coos' so I thought it'd be fun to get some cow-print things (hats, balloons etc to drop at the restaurant before we all get there) for a bit of fun and came across a site that sells just cow things, and lots of them! Who sits at home thinking, 'I know! I'll start up a website full of daft 'moo' puns and sell just cow related bits and bobs'?! :rotfl:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. CMD you make me feel huge lol, has taken me 6 months to be 3lb off my pre pregnancy weight (bit higher than yours!) and would still like to lose another stone.
Just been shopping and OH has got me a couple of pairs of boots from new look, one long brown pair and some short ones too. Also got me a jumper dress from h and m.
Loving the cow shop :rotfl:.0 -
Hmm, wish I had not bothered getting up today. Just one of those days I reckon.
At least one of October goals will be ticked off on Friday as the financial advisor is coming to meet with us. However, trying to work out with OH what to do about what money and budgets is a nightmare.
Glad you got some lovely pressies WendzWould love to be 8st 7lb CMD!

Morning! Aww Lara, hope you're OK - it's not like you to sound down. Have you made your sausages yet?
You know we're all dying for a banger update!
Glad I'm not the only one astonished at CMD's tininess! I ama whole two stone heavier than that, and feeling quite slim!!
Thought I'd do a goal update as it's payday today:
Tete - October
- Lose 5lbs - Thought I was doomed with this one but got on the scales this morning and am only 1lb off! That's given me a nice boost - consider me back on the wagon!
- Bring packed lunch for 16 remaining work days - (13/16) - tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches tomorrow and Friday and one more lot of frozen soup for Monday!
- Get to payday without dipping into my savings account - I spent £35.10 of my savingsPaid straight back this morning, was inevitable at the stage of writing my goals I think but at least this helped with damage limitation...
- Finish crocheting 2 baby blankets (currently at about 40% and 7% finished) - now about 80% and 7% - one baby has been born already
- Get my 5k PB under 35 minutes (current 35.04) - Didn't go running on Saturday so only this Sat to go for this ... and it's Halloween fancy dress :undecided
Mixed results there really. Starting to think about November now
How are you feeling Dinah, you've been quiet?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I was just thinking about my goals this morning Tete, will update too!
- Make 4 Christmas Presents - I guess I've managed this as I've made enough vodka for about 6 presents I reckon, haven't bottled it up yet so don't really know! Also not sure if it's a bit of a cheat to class that as separate presents since it was so easy! Will try to make something else tonight to make me feel better!
- Make 4 Christmas cards - Made 10! Smashed it!
- Lose 4lbs - Done! Just weighed myself this morning and back down to 155lbs, which is still terrifying as it's the heaviest I've been in many years but it's heading in the right direction.
- Write 4 reviews and try to get back onto the voucher-earning bandwagon! - 2 reviews written and 1 in progress.
How cool does fancy dress park run sound?!
Sorry you had a down day yesterday Lara, hope you're feeling cheerier today!
Sounds like you got a good present haul from your OH Wendz, happy nearly birthday!
I'm having a slight worry at the minute, I have forgotten to look for shoes to wear for my brother's wedding and I can't find anything now! It's not an easy thing to find either, ivory or gold, under 1" heel and as cheap as possible! SIL told me about some shoes in Next that she'd bought for her other BM (but not for me or her 3rd bridesmaid?? I don't get it!) which I refused to buy as they were a) ugly and b) £30 but now they've disappeared from the website and I wish I'd just been less awkward and bought the bleeding things! :eek:Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
