You lurking Poolie? Hows things in your world?
Hi Dinah,
Thanks for asking, after talking to a friend who is going through a split also, so we formed a support group, I decided to talk to Mrs P while she is in China about how I am feeling and how I see things going.
She understood and I have followed it up with an email which she has read so we both understand were we are going.
Shame Grace is not putting the beef on. Good for you at the craft show.0 -
Has she moved back there permanently or is she just visiting? I just want to give you a hug, I'm so sad you're going through this.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Visiting till the new year. I have offered to collect her from the airport and she can stay here till she is ready or we have made a decision about our lives. I don't think she realised how I felt which was tearing me apart.0 -
and I've spent about £400 setting up the craft business.
That's a lot of felt  Glad the fair went well though, all your FB postinglings seem very optimistic and chirpy! Hope it's something that will ultimately see you comfortably at home with Grace.
Odd with her not gaining any weight recently, keeping everything crossed it's nothing serious.
Messaged you on FB last night, Birdie. Too fiddlydiddly to reply here on my phone but let me know what you want for you OH and I can give it a shot
Sorry to hear the op was cancelled, Shrimpy. Any idea how long it will be until you get it rescheduled? Honestly, it's probably for the best with that vomiting bug going around hospitals at the moment - that's not something you want to catch!
I'd go for the credit card, Ruby. It sounds like you need it and this is what credit cards (in my eyes!) are for. There are lots of 0% deals going around at the moment so hopefully you can snag one of those
Finally got on with OH's anniversary present last night. Mick Foley's latest book and I'm *hopefully* going to score us some good tickets to his Spring UK tour tomorrow morning.
Oh PoolieI feel so rotten for you. Keep seeing your status's pop up on FB and I want to fuss around you and ask if you're okay but I'm sure you don't want that on there! Was good of you to offer her a place to stay, hope you're okay x

Sorry you're going through such an awful time Poolie.
Well done on the fair Dinah. :T Your stuff looked great, well done for making so many things and selling so much!
Oh and I didn't get a cardi.Still don't know where to look!
Love the idea of getting a book box for Christmas! I'd get a lot of books too, but never a box full! Great idea!
Shame Grace isn't gaining weight, but you're right, at least she's not losing it either. Hopefully the tests will shed some light on something that can be fixed so she'll get big and tubby!
Dyed my hair for the first time ever last night! Well, my friend did (I assumed she was an old hand as she was so confident when she told me that she'd do it, then admitted it was her first time as she was applying it!) It looks a bit like this now, which is a bit funky for little old me!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Happy Birthday Shrimpy!! So sorry to hear about the op being postponed though - must be so frustrating to be geared up for something like that and then it not happen. Fingers crossed they'll be able to reschedule soon and in the meantime, get that cake into you!!
Ah Poolie, what's going on? Is there a chance for you and Mrs P? From your initial posts it seemed quite mutual and done and dusted but I guess I read that wrong. Also, you're not MY friend on facebook *sniff*
Hope everyone else is well - I am mega busy (quelle surprise) as I'm in a school tomorrow and Friday so madly rushing about at work today. We had a new person start yesterday but my manager is off with the 'winter vomiting bug' (I'm saying nothing about the fact that she was on a hen weekend last weekend) and me and colleague are left to 'induct' (is that a word?) this new girl which is not only a massive drain on our time but also really unprofessional. Gah.
Oh PS Dinah - that flower blanket is bloody lovely isn't it? Looks pretty intricate though, those flowers look quite poofy. Crochet isn't hard really - once someone pointed out to me that it's just a series of loops, that took away the mystique a bit and made it easy to get my head around. Ha get me - The Mystique of Crochet!!
EDIT - Ooh Birdie! Ombre!! Ah I have such a girl crush on Drew :happyhear

Can't wait to see a picture of the real hair, sure it looks great. I remember when I first went to secondary school it was really in style then, all the older girls had it, I thought it was quite possibly the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. 16 years later and I still can't work how there isn't a line.
Can you wait for the sales? Although a lot of places seem to have continual sales. If so try the sales at Fat Face, White Stuff, Joules, Jack Wills... I'll keep thinking but that's where I'd go off the top of my head. ETA: Maybe even Oliver Bonas for something lighterweight but with a nice pattern?
Last night I put her to bed with a tummy as hard as a drum - I'd stuffed the poor child! I am determined to do everything in my power to feed her up for the next two weeks until her weigh in, see if it helps. This even meant buying the chocolate and vanilla petit filous not just strawberry, it's worth a punt to get her back up to 0.4% (25% is but a distant dream).
Website for my shop is all but built thanks to DebtFreeSomeday's suggestion, I just need photos of the products, need a bit more daylight and then I'll take them. Whilst I don't expect anyone to purchase, I would be really grateful if you could be my testers, go in, click about, try the links to facebook, add stuff to cart but not finish paying etc, and let me know if anything doesn't work so I can fix it before launching it on facebook and inviting everyone I know to like it and share the love.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Awww I can just picture little Grace being so stuffed she can't move!
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look in the sales
I'll take a pic of my new 'do tonight and either post on here or FB since it's easier to put it on there! It was surprisingly easy as I had an ombre hair kit but actually didn't need it; we just looked at some videos on YouTube and went for it. Trick is to do the tips and underside of the hair first, leave it a while, then move up a little and leave it then up a little more. The kit came with a special brush so she used that to blend it so there's no line!My hair is so dark it hasn't gone as light on the ends as I'd have liked though so we're going to have another go with a lighter colour at some point.
Will check out the shop tonight!

Oooh exciting about the hair Birdie! I have just added you on fb so I can have a peek, hope you don't mnd? Thought you might wonder who the random Butterbeer drinker was if I didn't explain
Hope Grace manages to put on weight Dinah, hope the tests reveal something that puts your mind at rest. I'll have a look around the shop for you, I'm not doing any work today if I can help it
I haven't heard anything about this vomiting bug, maybe it hasn't reached the Midlands yet! Mind you I sit in my office alone for most of the day so half the department could be off with it and I wouldn't know!
No new date for my op yet, was told it should be next week and that I'd know as soon as they did. This hospital haven'y been the best with communication so far though so will give them a call if I haven't heard by the end of the week I think. The big plus is that I had booked to go to the Harry Potter studio tour (again) this weekend and will now be able to goso I'm trying to be excited about that rather than fed up - it isn't working at the moment but hopefully it will soon!
Hope you enjoy your school days Tete, how many more do you have left to do now? It feels like you've done lots!
