Eugh... I remember baker's ovens from being a tortured younger sister! I was just telling the lady next to me at work about how my brother used to hold my head down and trump on me... and now he does it to his fiancee!

We play 'Escape' too, although we've never given it a name, OH just attacks me and laughs as I try to get him off me and panic because I can't breathe!

Hope the blood-giving goes well NIM, good boy! :)

You're such a nice housewife Cinny, getting all dolled up for the Man coming home! :D When my OH comes home I'm usually in my jimjams with massive fluffy hair! ;)

    Hi all!

Grabbing 5 mins as Max has just gone to bed and my Mum has Evie.

Flower - I'm not even sure if I said congrats to you! Hope all is going well. I absolutely love the name Noah!

Hi to everyone else. Not too long for you now Starnac. Enjoy the peace, I don't have 2 minutes to myself during the day. I had to hold Evie from 7.30pm to 11.30pm last night as she didn't want to be put down (max went to bed at 7pm). Then she was awake from 2.30am to 5am and then up again at 6am. Max then got up for the day at 7am. I have been to a mother & baby group every day this week except yesterday and then I went to a farm with Max and my parents. I am shattered and looking forward to seeing OH this evening! The mum & baby groups are great and everyone is very friendly. So far I am loving being at home :)

One of our very good friends approached OH about moving in with him so that would be brill. We would have rent straight away and OH would have some company during the week and the friend would have the place to himself from a Thursday to Monday!

Debt wise I don't know where we are at the moment but we are not adding to it so that is good. We will be in a much better financial position after Xmas when OH moves into our own flat as the mortgage is cheaper than the rent we are paying and we will have a lodger too!

Sorry I can't reply to everyone individually, I am reading and laughing a lot. When Evie starts to go down at 7pm I will be back with a vengeance. I am really enjoying her though, as I know I won't have any more. It will break my heart to fold up all her newborn clothes, I feel quite emotional about it as it is.

Well done on giving blood NIM :)

Glad all is going well CMD, sounds like you are very busy but loving it. Saw the latest pic, what a gorgeous girl! Glad the mums are friendly at the baby groups, I am starting to make some nice friends at mine.

Your Oh's friend moving in sounds like a great thing to do.

So other than getting a bit woozey after they'd taken the blood (The guy at the drinks table took one look at me and put me straight onto the trolley with my legs raised to get blood back to my head) and having nurses getting all weak at me charmin Irish lilt it was a rather uneventful visit to the Blood Transfusion People.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I wasn't talking down our date night, I love them :D All I meant was, getting dressed up with heels, make up and hair when I know OH would just come home and throw jeans and a tee on made me feel a little OTT! Although the screening was so full on over dressed teens I was glad I made some effort :rotfl: Seriously, I thought I'd walked into a Primark, Fake Tan, Hairspray and Top Knot convention.

It is crazy amounts for the cinema though, Tink. I think it was about £16.50 for both our tickets. Do you have any clubcard points you could use for cineworld vouchers? That's what we tend to do.

Paranormal Activity 3 was really good mind, if anyone's thinking of seeing it! Even OH had to look away at some points and my head was properly buried in my hands/fringe a lot. I hoped it would be the last but nope, they left the doors wide open for a 4th. Great :(

NIM - I have to admit I was sat here for a second thinking "Ireland has a special make of Lilt?!" :o Glad you're still alive though :D

    Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been around much been so busy sorting out problems after the chaos the other week amazingly I did find something that needed fixed. Manager in Canada refused to consider the solution so I arranged to go ahead and mock it up. Amazinly now he things it is the best thing since sliced bread (Brownie Points will be collected later).

Decided to take a look at my pension and realised it is not performing well given the current market conditions. Have therefore decided to add a gilts fund to the pension and do a 70-30 split on the monthly payments to help balance as Gilts are doing well at the moment - so much debt floating around and chances to make money.

Mrs P and I are also in the middle of packing as we have decided to move from Bracknell (Dump) to Wimbledon (Upmarket). We got a 3 bed house (3rd bedroom will become the study) for £1300 pcm. Knocked £200 pcm off what the landlords have the property listed at. It does require some painting which I will do myself and send them the bills. Moving around 12th November. Current Landlady was a bit shocked but ok about it.

Also, a potential tenant went to look at my flat in Paisley and is willing to take it on at the rental asking price so that will help us out and means I won't have to pay the council tax up there or the gas/electricity as the weather changes. Will send him a contract on Monday but first class post. He is looking to move in quickly which is even better.

NIM - Well done on giving blood I make sure i go every 16 weeks. If you use the blood.co.uk website you can actually book up to a year in advance for appointments and it will tell you when you can and cannot give.

Time to polish off the last 2 cans of beers as a celebration. Had one clown who can't enter the right phone number for Dominos (other pizzeria places do exist)
