I am intrigued about bakers oven too!
The blackboard on the wall would be fab for your dd Starnac.0 -
Do you really want to know?! Bakers Oven is when OH sneakily breaks wind, then hauls the covers over my unsuspecting head. And obviously under the duvet = warm. And when you're kicking about trying to get free it gets warmer. Hence the oven part. _pale_
I much prefer 'escape' if I had to pick one of his games. He'll lay on top of me, like a dead weight, and I have to pretend the house is on fire, Rich for some reason has died while climbing over me to escape (I can only suspect it's from the smoke) and escape.
Christ, we don't sound weird at all :rotfl: But it's kind of like when you used to play really odd made up games with your brother/sister on a Saturday morning. Only you're 20 and 23. And possibly should know better.I thought Bakers Oven was a well known sibling torture game though!
ETA: Or maybe there's just something really wrong with me. More so than I thought.0 -
Lara DH has just painted DD's bedroom and has left a patch on one wall ready to paint with blackboard paint for her to draw on.
Ohh, I had a bit of my wall as a blackboard! Only problem we had was cleaning it, as it never went back to being all lovely and new again no matter how many times I washed it down. Was fun though!0 -

I'm slightly concerned that he would climb over you to escape rather than help you :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

I know, right?! I did ask when he first did it but he said he was going to save the fish first, which I suppose is admirable. And also that if he had a 20 stone man clambering over him he'd no doubt wake up to see what the fuss was about. Which is a fair point!
Cancelled on my Brother to save him cancelling on me as he's still working (at an 86 year old mans house, who's watching RAW!) so I'm off to make myself look semi decent. Still don't know why I'm bothering. It's KFC, and the cinema. In Doncaster.0 -

Well Done NIM!
Absolutely bricking it tbh, bloody terrified of needles. It's KFC, and the cinema. In Doncaster.
Cause its also a night out with the man you love and its worth getting prettied up for? This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -

In all fairness, I do get changed and redo my makeup just before he comes home most nights when we're just staying in watching telly. Just seems like a silly fuss for a zinger burger! Even if it is coated in 11 magical herbs and spices.
Wish I could make you feel better about the needle, NIM! My Sister is just the same and there isn't a thing you can say to her. Just try and focus more on what good you're doing by giving blood, and you're doing and even greater thing by still going for it when you're terrified of needles.
Glad I can brighten up your evening with our oddness, Wendz! And I'll make sure to have double the fun tonight for you Star, I'll have a little extra popcorn for you tooOr M&Ms, I haven't decided!
