(totally picturing Ryder in a bonnet like Nanny in Peter Pan...)

    Haha! Yes!!

Hope everything goes well with the new graduates, if it helps at all I'm just the same! Super Pro at my job until someone stands behind me and then I'm all bumbling, awkward, and can't type.

Did you get Grace's oxygen sorted? Will say my Office is still very fax orientated for sending people things, but I always follow up with a call to make sure they've received it. It just makes sense!

Told my Sister last night that we won't be able to afford her wedding as we've decided to properly try for a baby. And she's fallen out with me. Doesn't understand why we can't wait another year to start trying. Then started belittling the situation by saying we decided we can't go to her wedding because we'd "rather have sex without protection" I'm just shocked. I can understand why she's upset and I apologised for upsetting her, but she just kept ranting on at me. I love her to death (I think you all know that!) but OH is right when he said she just thinks the world revolves around her. Anyways, at least I can stop worrying about her reaction! :o

Have you told your parents yet? If not you REALLY need to cause its not gonna look good coming from her.

I'm unnaturally excited about the idea of a miniture version of you running around Cinny, I have images of the bairn climbing up on Ryders back and riding him round the house. Grace needs a giant dog to ride around on.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Aw Cinny, its only natural that she will be upset, I'd be more worried if she didn't care! It's obvious how close you two are, I'm sure she will understand once she's had a little time to think it over. To be fair, I'd be devastated if my sis wasn't coming to my wedding but, for starters, we are all in the same country and if she had a genuine reason then I can say with certainty that I would accept it and it wouldn't affect our relationship.

Plus a little niece or nephew is a pretty amazing wedding present!

Ahh Cinny, I'm sure she was just shocked and upset and got verbal diarrhoea as a result. :o She'll come round once she's had time to think about it, she'll be an auntie after all! :) If she doesn't get over it and carries on telling you to put it off for a year then suggest that she puts off her wedding for a year so you can bring a tiny bidesmaid/pageboy along... and act shocked when she says that she won't change her life plans to suit you! ;)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Birdie, you are a bit of a genius sometimes you know that? This is a FANTASTIC idea.

Yep, my Parents knew already :) Grace is so tiny though, she'll be okay in Pushka for a while! Is is Pushka, right? Or am I making cat names up now?

And thanks Shrimpy and Birdie! I hope she just needs a little time to get her head around it? I just feel rotten for her as our Parents might not be able to go either, or our Brother. I think she just saw me as a certainty? Even though I had told her a thousand times before the babygate that it'd be a big if for us to afford it. Will steal your idea though Birdie! I was tempted to say something like that yesterday but I didn't want to start an argument with her.

Meh, I'm sure you'll be sprogged up before I am! :o

You can't say that for certain though :) Hope you're okay with everything btw, you know where I am if you want to talk x

Its Pushka, well remembered. Believe it or not Grace is a fair bit bigger than Pushie now, she'd crush the poor thing with her 7lb10oz awesomeness.

Eek this is such exciting news Cinny! on't wiorry about your sister as others said she obviously cares about you which is why she'd miss you at her wedding. Sounds like you are being very sensible with the plan to save.

Aww could just imagine Grace riiding round on a cat! Poppy is obsessed with cats (it ws her first word haha), scared of dogs though which i dont understand as she hasn't had any bad experiences.

Woops, sorry! Ryder is warping my judgement of other animals size. Everything is Ryder sized in my mind :o I forget how small cats are!

Odd about Poppy being scared of dogs! I love it when little kids latch on to one animal though, she obviously needs a cute little kitten :D

Eeek, off on holiday in a few hours, so frantic but excited too, really, really looking forward to a week of relaxing as a family, feels like ages since NIMs paternity leave.

One of Grace's NICU boyfriends came for a visit today, wow what a size! He's nearly 11lbs now and a gorgeous little lad, in the NICU there was a joke she wasn't suitable girlfriend material as she was such a mucky baby pooing all over her incubators, and what did she do when he came today? Filled her nappy and then covered the mat when I was changing her with the most God awful stinky slime. He showed her how it's done though, calmly and happily taking a 7oz bottle where she usually struggles for 2oz... so she took 3oz to show she had watched and learnt, clever girl.
