Oh poor you Ruby, and your other half
Like the others have said it could be a realistic dream that crossed over into real life stress which caused him to freak out, or his medication could have started having an effect. I'm sure like Birdie said that side effects can come on at any time, I've had pills in the past that have done weird stuff after a year of being fine and this medicine is probably much more hardcore than they are.
Definitely worth a trip to the doctors, and I know how blokes are so maybe making out more like its his medicine that needs reviewing than that he's gone a little weird!
How's everyone else doing? I'm on holiday this week and the sun has been shining which is nice. Was done in London for a couple of paralympic events which were really good, was getting really I-love-London-and-want-to-move-here, then was on the slowest, hottest tube at rush hour on Monday and decided my dream was over...

Hope your Oh is ok Ruby, sounds like he is a bit stressed about something. Maybe worth going to doctors if he doesn't improve. Just having a chat about it though might help.
OH and I both talk in our sleep and he often gets up and does stuff. He yanked the curtain a few weeks ago and pulled the curtain rail off the wall!
What a great week to be on holiday off work Archers. Is my day off tomorrow so looking forward to that and got a good weekend planned. Which events did you see?
I am getting a bit stressed at the moment thinking about all our car stuff that needs to be paid for next couple of months. We have tax, mot and service this month, then insurance and aa next month. Is all expensive too because of the size of car. Going to end up using wedding money for it which is stressing me out as we hardly have much saved as it is.0 -
least you have savings for it to come from rather than using credit cards! Maybe you can do some of the extreme things on martins tips (like only using food from your cupboard for a week or something..) to start to feel like youre paying yourself back into the wedding fund? (dont think that made too much sense sorry!)
Those night mares sound scary! I've never seen anything like it but sometimes OH and I have a little chat when ones asleep and the other isnt.. it's funny telling him what he was saying! I hope your OH is okay though and your flat is not the problem least you can move if needs be (but i hate moving!) least you're not too tied down!
I feel a bit skint at the moment but i have no idea why, i think big credit card buys last month which have now been paid have hit my bank balance and I'm generally feeling sorry for myself because i haven't felt like I've been out too much recently as I've had so much onwant to plan some treats and real days out but dont have the money argh!

Morning all, hope you all had a good weekend. Went back to Essex for the weekend. Had a nice chilled day Saturday with my parents and then Sunday went to Southend for OH's dad's 60th birthday. Took him to a really nice restaurant and generally had a really nice day.
Had a chat with OH the other day about what happened on Tuesday night. Turns out that he's been having mild panic attacks (which it was the other night) when he gets home from work most nights and in the middle of the night, but didn't want to tell me. So he's going to the Dr's tonight to have a chat because the medication he's on for his epilepsy is also used for people with anxiety disorder too, so this shouldn't really be happening. Had another mild one last night as we were going to bed, but I managed to calm him down.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Hope Dinah and Nim had a fab time at the wedding , the pics of the three are you are gorgeous!
Thanks Tink, I shouldn't really be stressing as we won't get in debt i just tend to get a bit worried over these things.
Ruby - sounds like you had a nice weekend, hope your Oh gets on ok at the doctors. Sounds horrible.
I had a good weekend. We went to proms in the park saturday with my mum, sister and took Poppy too. Was lovely weather and Poppy loved waving her flag although only slept for about an hour and was wide awake till about 12 after that!
I have spent half of today refreshing onepoll as i am just over a pound off redeeming at long last.0 -
Hellooooo everyone. We had a fantastic holiday (needed it more than I realised I think) and have come back one loved up and relaxed tiny family. The wedding was fantastic, so much fun, really enjoyed ourselves. We had lots of lovely days out and some gorgeous (and not so exciting) meals. Grace was utterly adored and spoilt and has come back expecting constant attention. Brother and girlfriend weren't intentionally disruptive, but had a huge falling out at the wedding which led to her in tears and him storming off God knows where. So I ended up going and talking to her, she's matured a lot in the last year and while I still think she makes drama where none is needed, I don't think it's intentional, she just comes from a dysfunctional family. I also don't think my brother has grown up at all, and that isn't helping them as they're kind of pulling against one another. Mum said she asked him if he was happy, to which he replied he's not unhappy, and she pointed out not unhappy is a very long way from happy and not a way she'd wish on anyone to live their lives. Apparently he broke up with his girlfriend 50+ times while doing his dissertation, he told her he was embarrassed by her at the wedding as she asked the bloke next to her (also drunk) the same question 3 times. In return she burst into sobs during one of the best men speeches when he said he could see the bride and groom worked together because their relationship didn't look like work at all, which is very true, but made brother's gf burst into sobs because theirs clearly is so much hard work. Phew!
Been very aware recently of how neglected our cat is since we had Grace, we used to dote on her, and now we never really have time even to sit and pet her as it's always Grace we're cuddling. Obviously she's still well fed and watered, but it's the attention she's lacking. Mum has just got my grandad's cat otherwise I'd be thinking of sending her there so she got more attention.
NIM and I weighed in this morning again, we're on a mission to be good until Christmas, then take stock and see how we're going. I still have about 30lbs to go, and he has around 35lbs. I'm well aware it won't all be gone (for me certainly) by Christmas, but it's good to set a mini goal.
Been a good wife tonight and have made NIM a healthyish roast dinner - chicken breast, mash and plenty of veg. I'm really bad for not making dinner when I'm off work as I tend to just have a late lunch and not feel hungry later or only want toast, but this is part of my new resolution to Do Things Properly.
Grace's check up today went well, currently running a 24 hour trace to see if she can come off oxygen a few hours a day (fingers crossed!). They think her gagging when feeding is a reflux issue, so we're trying some new medicine, but did get to stop an old one today as her kidney scan came back as being healthy. She hasn't gained much weight again, some but she's falling off her curve rather than catching up, however the community nurse thinks she's nearly ready to wean. She gave me a Bliss leaflet on preemie weaning and I admit I had a bit of a blub reading it at home realising my little girl is growing up. The doc also says her half lung sounds like it's growing well into the space where the other bit was removed, so that should start to cure the diaphragmatic palsy (not moving up and down making breathing harder) that was caused by the surgery and also give her a better lung volume. She's 8lbs 4oz now - seems weird she's newborn size yet they want to wean her in about a months time, she just needs a bit more head control.
Waiting for NIM to get home then vanishing upstairs for the evening - his dad and girlfriend are coming on Friday and currently the guest room is PACKED with junk, books, clothes, and general clutter.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds like you all had a brilliant time.
Think your bf and the gf need to think about their relatinship, doesn't sound healthy at all.
Fingers crossed about the oxygen for Grace. Exciting about weaning soon, although it does cause a lot of mess lol.
Only 95p to go on onepoll. Undcided whether i will carry on after. i tend to do it occasionally till i get near payout when i start checking more.0
