I think the dress is fine Dinah (in fact I think its gorgeous) I was expecting plain white/ivory but with the pattern I'd say its not a problem at all. Unless your cousin is excessively bridezilla...? I certainly wouldn't bat an eyelid if someone wore that to my wedding.Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0

I think the dress is lovely, check with the bride but I'm guessing she'd say it was fine as it's not overly white and the detail is so pretty.

At our friend's wedding last weekend one of the girls wore a white dress and I wasn't terribly impressed with her for it; it was all white (and too see-through and too short, my Mum was quick to point out!), she wore pale pinky/nude accessories and a white wrap with it too- think someone wants to be a bride again!
Unfortunately it was covered in fake tan before she even got to the church then she got gravy down the front! Mwahaha! :rotfl:
That last fascinator is too much BTW... if it was pink I'd be all over it like a car bonnet though!

Please become the mad hat lady Birdie! When I went to see the rolling stones in the program was credit to Mick Jaggers milliner (is that spelt right), can you image been employed on a world tour just to provide hats!?
Honestly (though as an unmarried lady) I think that dress is fine, it's not wedding dressy at all, the pattern totally takes away from the white-ness. It's lovely!
This week has been so busy, fed up of kitchen work, and next one won't be much better. Can't wait to get my first products launched so I feel it's worthwhile. On the wine now and finally get to see OH, we are proper ships in the night now, so lazy weekend ahead.

Grace's nursery is so sweet
With her little teeny tiny clothes on teeny tiny hangers! Still insanely broody, it wasn't helped by sitting next to the most adorable little boy on the bus either. Although when I see women in the village with screaming brats I do stop and think "I could just be the Mother of many dogs"
Although I know without any doubt my kid will be along the weirdness lines of Fregley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid. And that's amazing
How was everybody's weekend?
Mine was stressful! More problems with my Brother's Girlfriend. I'm just so thankful most of it kicked off in front of family as, unlike when I went to speak to them privately, they can't twist my words. Everyone knows I'm just sticking up for myself, and that she's trying to act a part no one's falling for. Like my Nan said, I'm sticking with the truth and I can't falter with that. Where as all her lies will fall down around her at some point. Just trying to keep my head above it, as it would be so easy to just go full biatch on her. Went to my friends house last night to relax and watch movies, and she made a 50 Shades of Grey cake (50 shades of cake!) I thought Birdie would appreciate it
So I feel a lot better, and I have a slice of cake to look forward to for dinner! 0 -

I saw your comment on Twitter but felt it was better to let things chill a bit first. Your Nan sounds like a smart lady, I'd be running with that advice too...assuming I didnt get too hot-headed and be TOO honest with her.
I still don't get the big deal about 50 shades of grey. Make Grey a pauper and women the world over would be up in arms over the book. Is it basically saying if you have money you can do anything you want? This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
If you have money you can do anything you want?
I think a lot of people would agree with the accuracy of this statement in general. Money opens a lot of doors and buys you a lot of leeway, and the ability to surround yourself with like minded people.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
