Nursery has no furniture in it..... Grace may go in a drawer.

She has a loving mum and dad. That and a drawer is all she needs ;)

Is she going straight into the nursery then or is she having some time in your room?

Our room for a bit first, cot will supposedly fit in both.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Wonderful to think that Grace will soon be home with you both Dinah. I'm sure she won't mind sleeping in the drawer ;)

I had yesterday off as I have a few days to use up before the end of August and am finding it such a struggle being back today! As much as I say I want a three day weekend I'm not sure it wouldn't make me feel worse! Got quite a bit of house tidying/sorting done, including colour co-ordinating our bookshelf after seeing a pic on pinterest :o and generally had a very quiet hermit-like few days! Have nearly finished a cross-stitch sampler which will be the first embroidery project I have ever managed to finish! Oh the excitement! :rotfl:

I really enjoyed Go Ape Birdie although it's not the kind of thing I usually go in for, I was much braver than I thought and did all the hard bits (don't know if your course was the same but this one had a couple of easier routes to bypass the really scary stuff). When we finished one of the instructors said that they had all had a bet on me crying and not finishing the course!

Well done to Ryder on the awards as well, child prodigy!

So exciting that steps are being made for Grace going home. Poppy loves getting in drawers and things so I'm sure Grace will haha.

Well that's where babies used to go during the war when they could afford a crib or find the materials to make one.
I'll stick a saucepan on her head too to really give her the warbaby spirit.

Crib is indeed being assembled tonight, but it goes in our room not the nursery...so nursery will still be bereft of furniture.

I remember Max's nursery looked so bare when we had the moses basket in our room. I struggled to chuck both of ours out into their own room, but both were gone at about 7 months as we were starting to wake them up!

Ooh so exciting that Grace is coming home :j

Finally been paid and got all my expenses (minus £80) so been able to do a bit of a money shuffle. Luckily I got more than I was expecting due to when I started and having a few months of personal allowence to use so I paid off my credit card and shouldn't need to use it this month. I owe £875 on my 0% overdraft, and about £200 on an argos store card - also 0%, so not too bad! BF has started work now too so we should feel a bit richer come the end of July :)

ETA: Very jealous of everyone who's been to Go Ape, would love to try it!

Poppy went in her own room at 8 months. I slept in same room as her at my mums this weekend and she doesn't half fidget, kept me awake moving round her cot.

    Woohoo Archers on getting paid.
