So relieved Grace's surgery went well and it brought a tear to my eye to read about her gripping your finger - and your mum's response to cuddling her :):)

Exactly the same here, had tears in my eyes reading about what you have been through and how well little Grace is fighting.
God I feel so guilty now, Noah has been really whiney all morning and I was moaning to OH that I never get a minute to myself. I shall be giving him a great big hug and kisses when he wakes up from his nap!

So sorry to hear about your grandad as well, hope he is as comfortable as can be xx

Try not to worry too much about money at the minute, your debt is still coming down so thats good.

Grace still ventilated today but less puffy - she was holding so much fluid yesterday my dad said she looked like Bernard Manning. Today she looks more herself, it's just a much slower process getting her breathing on her own again than I think anyone imagined. Her feeds have been stopped while they try to dry her out a bit. Grace report out.

Glad Grace is looking more herself today. I also had tears in my eyes reading about poor Grace and what you have all been going through. Hope the process to get her breathing on her own again does not take too long.

Really sorry to hear about your Grandad too.

Really sorry to hear about your Grandad Dinah, but glad Grace is still doing well, even if it is taking a little longer. Thinking of you and your family x

Not much to report here, still chipping away at the debts - not much but at least its going down!

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather. We have had lots of trips to the park, to feed the ducks and down the river. Noah has been loving it, but heat is also making him very sleepy!

    Hello!

Just slowly coming back to reality after very happy wedding and honeymoon - thanks all for your nice words and well wishes :) I will post some pics soon (once I've narrowed them down from 500!)

So glad to hear that Grace is back on Teesside - hope she continues to do well. It's amazing how much she's grown, what a super girl!

Been thinking of your family going through such a lot.

Sorry to hear that times are tough for you, Flower. It's still positive that your debts are going down, even if it's slow. Fingers crossed about your job - would you get a redundancy package if it is bad news? Hope you're making the most of being at home with Noah in this gorgeous weather :)

Big hello to everyone else

glad you had good birthday and hols, Birdie! Is Cinny off in the sun now?

Hi Poddle! Nice to see you back, I want to hear all about Cuba! :D

How's Gracie doing now? I held a colleague's 3 week old baby this morning and she was so small, but it hit me that she's still bigger than Grace by a long way. Amazing how people start off so tiny! :)

I hope everyone's been enjoying the weather, we had the nicest weekend in the sun with friends, eating and drinking lovely things. :)

I think Cinny is due home tomorrow? Some point this week anyway. :)

Nice to see you back Poddle! Looking forward to seeing some pictures :)

With regards to redundancy package, I have only worked in the company for about 3 and a half years and the last 2 years has been part time (ironically I went part time in order to save my job!) so whatever I do get wont be anything amazing. There are alot of us in the same position unfortunalty, fingers crossed we get some good news soon!

Hope Grace is doing well today xx

Hi everyone, on my phone so will be brief. Grace settled back in hospital, took her first feed by bottle rather than tube today. still has a bit of oxygen but slowly coming down on it. Spent last night at home, today I had to see an endocrinologist about my blood pressure and he told.me.one of my tests has come back positive, meaning I have a tumour on my adrenal gland. 90% of people have benign ones, but obviously I'm very scared of being the 10% who are malignant. I'm back in hospitAl for a few days while they try me on some targetted medication, and then will need surgery to remove it. I've had to stop expressing milk for Grace which I'm finding really hard emotionally, I feel like I failed her yet again. Being a new mum isn't supposed to be like any of this.

Oh Dinah, that's so upsetting, really sorry to hear you're ill and will pray that you're in the 90%, but please don't feel that you've failed Grace. I felt that I failed DD by having to have a c-section without any labour/Braxton Hicks, and it took a while, but I ended up being able to 'forgive' myself as DD knows that I love her more than life itself, just as you do Grace.

Look after yourselves Dinah and NIM.
