Ohh, I miss my 4 day weekends :( Not long until the bank holiday season though!

Hope you got your computer sorted, Dinah! Sounds like something I'd do :o

I'm broodingly angry today. I don't even know if that's a phrase, but it's how I feeling. Hmph. As ever, just as things were getting good between me and my Brother's Girlfriend she does something that makes me all protective of him again. She's found an apprenticeship she's wanting to apply for, 40 hours a week and won't even be getting paid enough to cover her personal monthly bills. So, she's basically told my Brother he should sell his car to fund the difference :wall:

On the bright side, I'm £120 up this morning :j

I'm wondering if this girl has mental health issues. Every single one of us has seen jobs we'd love to do but couldnt afford the loss of income. Can I please slap her with a haddock?

Other news, we booked our holiday last night :D

We've also done almost all the last bits of baby shopping over the weekend. Still need the cot and bedding, but mum and dad are getting that. And potentially a changing table.

I hope your brother isn't going to give in and actually sell his car Cinny! Surely she's got stuff of her own she can sell, like silly expensive watches?!

Holiday looks lovely Dinah! When do you go? I'm trying to find somewhere for 4 nights in Spain but struggling to find anything that looks half decent for the right price and getting frustrated, this is why I like to use Travel Agents; I get fed up trying to do it all myself! :o

For our holiday it would cost £120 (about 25%) more to go for 14 nights than 4 - I think that's absolutely ridiculous! I LOVE holiday hunting - want me to try being your personal travel agent?

With a 1% finders fee on top of the cost which will be lots lower than a standard travel agent of course :p

Yes please! :j We've got the free plane tickets so just need a hotel. Can fly into Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga or Murcia, I've no idea where's good to go though? 11th-15th May, looking to spend around £150- this is the year of cheap and cheerful, all we need is sunshine, a pool and lots of food! ;)
