) but deleted it because it sounded a bit, well, ranty. But yeah I agree! I got into a habit of tipping my hairdresser every time because I started going when I was pretty young and unsure of myself but since I started going somewhere else I pay on my card (so no obligation to say 'keep the change') and then only leave a tip in their Christmas box if I'm there in December. But at Christmas it seems you have to tip everyone - bin men, postman, windowcleaner ... where does it stop? No-one tips me and I don't even get a bonus or any kind of subsidised party - our team got a box of chocolates between us last year. Oops sorry, ranting again
Ranting is good for the soul. Lets out all the negative energy. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0 -
Lesson learnt in why you don't give in to pregnancy cravings. You end up stood at Tesco's till with your own body weight in fruit, two blocks of butter, a carton of cream and a jar of jam but realise you left the bank card at home.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yeah, let the rant roam free Tete!
Agree with it all TBH. I get so cross whenever I get on a coach on holiday, airport transfers, day trips etc, and the guide says, 'Please tip the drivers are they are poorly paid'... well pay them more !!!!!!, not my problem!
I've never tipped a hairdresser, most of them are already overpriced IMO so I'm not going to give them any more! My Dad went to the same hairdresser for years (Saks, so not cheap!) and always gave them £10 to cut his hair; he'd just pop it on the desk and walk out, poor receptionists never knew what to do! When the manager changed and he said he'd have to pay full price my Dad was appalled by how much it really cost and never went back! Bless himOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Errr pretty much! I think it might have been a tenner when he first started going... and he just never thought that the price would change over the course of 10 years!
Fruit is a good craving Dinah! I had a friend who just wanted to eat Dominos pizza, not the healthiest of cravings!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Gosh aren't cravings funny, my friend had her OH going to pick pizzas up at 11pm in his PJs because she was going crazy for a pizza! Very strange!
Now trying to convince OH that it's a good idea to go to Disneyland Paris for my birthday in May instead of doing something for our anniversary! He isn't taking too much convincing TBH, I'm just going to have to work out the cost to see if it's at all viable.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
